
The following headline appeared recently on Breitbart: "Dems Ramp Up Threats of Violence as Failed California Guv Gavin Newsom Plays Race Card…Again; Trump Wants 'Civil War' for 'White Supremacy.'" Well, if that is what Trump wants, he will never get my support again. But that's not what Trump wants, I know it, Gavin Newsom knows it, most of America knows it, but the Democrats keep playing the race card because they believe they must keep "people of color" in their camp. That's what this "playing the race card" is all about. Votes and power. And it's all a lie.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness – That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…" THAT is what we conservatives want, a nation where everybody is equal before the law, a nation that recognizes that the people's rights come from God, not government, that government's purpose is to protect the rights that God gives us, and that government gets its authority from the people, not vice versa. And, "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." The people control the government; the people have a right to change it any time they want to because it belongs to them, and the people tell the government what to do, not vice versa.
THAT is what I believe in.
THAT is NOT a "racist," "white supremacist" government, it is a government of ALL the people. And it doesn't give special privileges to certain favored classes of citizens. And it certainly doesn't give special privileges to people who are illegally in the country, who have no right to be here in the first place.

That is what I believe, and that is what I think most conservative Americans believe. That is, quite obviously, not what Gavin Newsom and the Democratic Party believe. Remember Democratic Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) from a few weeks ago, "Our rights come from government, not God." You can't say anything more antithetical to America, to what our Founding Fathers established America to be, than what Tim Kaine said. His words are the words of Vladimir Lenin, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Xi Jinping. Not George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison.
"The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded," said James Madison. The Democratic Party does NOT believe that, and any of them who say they do are lying through their teeth.
The Democrats do not want the America of the Declaration of Independence. They do not want an America of "self-evident truths." They do not want an America where our rights come from God. They do not want an America where all people are equal. They do not want an America where the people tell the government what to do. They want an America where government tells the people what to do. That is the entire issue in Minnesota right now—according to the Left, according to the Democratic Party and its anti-American educated sycophants, the people do not have a right to tell the government that those illegally in the country can't stay here. If the government wants them here, they can stay because everybody's rights come from government, and government tells the people what those rights are and what they can and cannot do. Government does what it wants to. That's what the Left wants. That's what the Democratic Party wants. That is what Minnesota is all about. It's a whole different vision of what government is supposed to be and is supposed to do. It is not America, the America of the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of 1789.

The Democrats want a totalitarian government. Tim Kaine's words are a recipe for totalitarian government. If government gives us all our rights, then government can arbitrarily take away any of those rights it gives us. That's freedom? No, it's slavery, because it is exactly what slave-owners did. They told their slaves what to do, they gave their slaves any "rights" or "freedoms" they wanted them to have, and they could, wholly randomly, take away any of those "rights" and "freedoms" any time they chose. That's what slavery is! That's what Tim Kaine preaches! Slavery to the national government. A totalitarian, dictatorial government. That's what the Left, that's what the Democratic Party wants. And nothing short of it.
But they can't tell the people that, of course, and thankfully for the Democrats, most Americans are not intelligent enough to draw the logical conclusions from what Tim Kaine said. Democrats can't tell the people they want to put them in slavery, so they have to obfuscate the atmosphere by saying that Donald Trump wants a "civil war" to establish "white supremacy." That is about the stupidest thing I've heard since…the last time Gavin Newsom opened his mouth. But how many Americans believe Newsom? That's the tragedy. That man was elected governor of our most populous state, and somebody just like him will be elected as California's governor the next time the state holds such an election.

And somebody just like him—maybe him—will be elected president of the United States the next time America elects a Democrat to that office.
That is not America. But that is what the Democrats want America to be.
