I never ceased to be amazed at the incredibly poor reasoning of the people on the Left. It's like they've never heard the word "logic" before, and have no clue how to draw conclusions based on logical thought or historical evidence. Of course, they are products of an American education system that is not geared to teaching children how to think, but only teaching children what to think—as long as it agrees with left-wing dogma. Unfortunately, nearly all of us are products of the government-run education system (some parents put their children in private schools), so anyone who wishes to think and reason coherently must rise above the education they received in the public schools. Giving education to the government is one of the greatest mistakes of American history.

But the Left hasn't risen above their poor education, and rarely, if ever, draws the conclusions their dumb statements imply. I have picked out four such statements, randomly, that I have run across in recent weeks to illustrate the faulty logic and reasoning of leftists. These could easily be multiplied exponentially, but let me just share four.
1. Billie Eilish at the Grammys: "No one is illegal on stolen land."
I don't listen to modern music, so frankly, I'd never even heard of Billie Eilish until I read this quote on Breitbart, and I certainly have no incentive to start listening to her now. I guess she's pretty famous, and probably fairly wealthy. So, if she owns a house in America, it's on "stolen" land; thus, according to her logic, anybody can legally live in it. I wouldn't be "illegally" there if I did move in because she's on "stolen" land. I suspect, however, she'd very quickly shout "Cop!" loud and long and want me immediately "deported" off her "stolen" property.
Of course, her statement is regarding the illegal aliens who now reside in America. According to the Left, America "stole" the land from the people who were living on it, and since we (white) people did that, we can't complain if others live illegally on land that we stole and thus have no justified right to. It doesn't take much thought to destroy this nonsensical reasoning, but again, "thinking" is something totally foreign to most leftists.

In historical truth, no peoples ever "owned" the land they first settled on—not even the "native" (or "first") Americans. I would (conservatively) estimate that 95-plus percent of the peoples who live on the geography they currently occupy were not the first occupants, and "stole" it from the initial—or 100th—dwellers on that land. That is true globally, not just in America. So, according to Billie Eilish's "logic," no human being today is an "illegal" on any land he now lives on, and can live anywhere on earth he/she chooses to because he would be living on "stolen" land. Mexico? Nope, not there. The Mexicans stole it from the Spanish, who stole it from the Aztecs, who stole it from the Maya, who stole it from the Toltecs, ad infinitum…Billie, why don't you move to China, illegally, and tell them they can't deport you because you are living on land they stole from earlier peoples who lived there (which they did). She'd be on the next plane back to America.
2. Democratic Governor Andy Beshear: "My faith teaches me that all children are children of God."
Yes, all children are God's children, and Jesus certainly loves children (Matthew 18). Ergo, since all children are children of God, that gives the rest of us the right to mutilate them and change their gender. That is Governor Beshear's logic. I wonder which "faith" he belongs to; it certainly isn't Christianity, or Judaism, or Islam, or any other major faith. I actually know what "faith" he adheres to—the "faith" of Marxist Leftism. It is the only "faith" I know of that "preaches" that children can be mutilated for sexual purposes.

3. "Jesus said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about abortion or homosexuality."
I had a leftist use this on me a few weeks ago after I had written an article saying Christianity condemned those two sins, among others. Since Jesus, according to Lefty's logic, said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (the emphasis was his) about abortion and homosexuality, then Christ didn't condemn them. I kindly pointed out to my sadly misguided friend that Jesus also said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about incest, or bestiality, or SLAVERY, or RACISM, or pedophilia, or 1,001 other things, some of which even the Left would oppose (I hope). Jesus spoke of many things He condemned, and more than that, of the life He wanted us to live (for example, one man, one woman, married until one dies, with one exception, Matthew 19:1-9). And of His true love for children, Governor Beshear (Matthew 18). So, again, the Left's logic is incredibly faulty.
One more:
4. Bryan Cranston, another "brilliant" Hollywood actor whom I had also never heard of before I read the following quote: "Just ask yourself, from an African-American experience, when was it ever great in America?"
Okaaayy….Well, if things are so bad for African-Americans in America ("when was it EVER great in America for them," implying now, too, I suppose), maybe they should go to China. Great freedom there, just ask the Uyghurs, religious believers, and those getting their guts cut out. I also hear that North Korea is lovely in the spring. Iran has lots of beaches. Maybe Ilhan Oman agrees with Cranston and would like to return to Mogadishu. I suggest that Cranston ask Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Clarence Thomas, Ben Carson, Thomas Sowell, and millions of other comfortably off black people if they ever had it "great" in America. Cranston gives us more "brilliance" from the Left.

The Left can't—or doesn't, or won't—think, because they emote. And they "emote" hatred for America, yet won't leave it. They'd rather destroy the nation. And their blindness and hatred might just do that.
