Trump 2.0 is certainly full of surprises. First of all, I wouldn’t have bet a dime on a Kennedy serving in a Trump administration, but it’s real. Meanwhile, I certainly wouldn’t have predicted that the musical artist Kid Rock would hang out at the Oval Office and have dinners with the president. But that happened.

Add another event to the list of unexpected things: Kid Rock and RFK Jr. together, sweaty, lifting weights and taking ice baths like two long-term gym bros. It was entertaining, but it also came with a message that is close to HHS Secretary Kennedy’s heart: eat real food, and stay active.

I’ve teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD. pic.twitter.com/PkK8IfkPU4

Of course, haters of all things Trump are calling it unhinged, cringe, and worse, but the two seemed to be having fun while making a point:
Set to the rocker’s "Bawitdaba" song, the one-minute, 30-second comical video, described as "Secretary Kennedy and Kid Rock’s Rock Out Workout," opens with the pair posing shirtless next to what appeared to be a taxidermied bear wearing a hat, and then shows quick shots of the American flag, a shark, a military plane, bears and an eagle.
The two men are also seen preparing food in a kitchen, holding an American flag in front of an imitation Statue of Liberty and sitting in a convertible.

Since we keep talking about things unexpected, that word certainly applies to RFK Jr. getting in the cold plunge pool – with his pants on.
Kennedy rides a stationary bike in the sauna wearing jeans while Kid Rock can be seen doing push-ups in the background. The pair then switch places.
After the sauna workout, Kennedy jumps into a cold-plunge tub while still wearing his jeans.
After getting out of the cold plunge, Kennedy wonders, "Where’s Kid?" and he finds the rocker relaxing in a heated swimming pool.
As I said, snarky criticism was easy to find on social media, but plenty of people liked the message too:
The left hates that RFK JR and Kid Rock actually work out.
In other news, we should all look this good when we are RFK's age (72).pic.twitter.com/R1A88Nc9CF

Look, I’m not going to pretend that it’s not a little… different. I will say, however, that I certainly don’t see any harm in it, and Kennedy has made it his mission to make America healthy again, which I think everyone can agree has become a pretty necessary priority in this country.

On 60 Minutes, @SecKennedy explains why 70% of Americans are either obese or overweight: “It’s because we’re given food that’s low in nutrition and high in calories, and it’s destroying our health.” pic.twitter.com/w7456H7iE1

Kennedy:
Seventy 70 of Americans are either obese or overweight. And it's not because they got indolent, or because we became lazy, or because we suddenly developed giant appetites.
It's because we're being given food that is low in nutrition, and high in calories, and it's destroying our health.
All I can tell you is that if I look anything like Kennedy when I’m 72, I’ll be taking my shirt off too.
