One of the great advantages of being a Democrat is that one doesn't actually have to make any sense at all. 

Seriously, both my wife and I were joking about this the other day. Liberals will go on and on about women's rights, and then insist that men be allowed in women's sports, locker rooms, and prisons. They will scream about microaggressions and stochastic terrorism just before they call people Nazis, mime shooting people in the neck, and cheer on assassinations.

The latest absurdity is the claim that voter ID is Jim Crow 2.0 and the claim that women are incapable of getting IDs. 

This, in a world where, by laws that Democrats have passed, it's impossible to do just about anything else aside from voting without an ID. No bank accounts, housing, jobs, travel (you need a DL to drive and a RealID to fly), leave the country when you decamp to Canada or Ireland, buy alcohol, or God knows what. 

Democrats also hand out IDs to illegals like they are Obamaphones, allowing them to kill people on the roads in massive trucks, totally untrained. 

Apparently, in New York City, you cannot shovel snow with several forms of ID, passport photos, and a Social Security card. No doubt this is a union rule or something, even if you are doing it for free, since you are impinging on their overtime. 

Liberals love the homeless, but let them freeze to death or die of drug overdoses in the street. They love diversity, but also love Muslims who treat women like trash, talk endlessly about conquering the West, and who look forward to the day when they can impose Sharia law on everybody else.

The whole pooping in public thing is a bit of a problem for them. Apparently, in Los Angeles, the buses have been running advertisements about not pooping on the buses, because this is now a thing. The LA transit authority accidentally released the videos on YouTube, and they caused quite a stir. They took them down immediately, because of course they did, not wanting to offend whoever needed the education by exposing them to ridicule. 

In the UK, signs are popping up around cities explaining to people that pooping in public is not OK. I didn't know this, but apparently, some migrants from "South Asia" needed to be informed of this norm we have in the West. People who are demanding that dogs be banned because they are "unclean" are simultaneously incapable of getting used to the idea of toilets. 

Democrats are also able to lie with abandon, and nobody in Pravda challenges them. Both Bernie Sanders and Gavin Newsom, who are world travelers with passports, insist that they wouldn't know how to prove they are US citizens. They literally have done so, and both live in states that require RealID, so they are lying their asses off, and yet Pravda "journalists" just nod along and help them insist that if privileged white guys couldn't do it, surely women and blacks, who are far less capable, cannot.

Hey, wait...aren't these guys also in the DEI/women are the bomb camp? 

None of it matters. Making sense is not a requirement. Say whatever you need to say at that moment, and reverse course the next second if that helps your case. 

It's like the abortion fanatics who will insist that an abortion for a dog is cruel and unusual and sign petitions to end the practice, but who will go nuts at you if you want to ban the practice in human beings. 

It's one of the left's superpowers. If you have to make sense, there are limits to what you can advocate or criticize. If aborting puppies is wrong, aborting babies should be as well. Right?

Nah.
