The Dangers Of Islam In America: Not A Religion But A Cult Of Hate

Islam isn’t a private faith. It’s a political cult that already treats American soil as territory to be settled. The memo was written in 1991. The streets already show it. The line has to be held.

America isn't a hotel for wayward travelers. It's a country with a Constitution, a language of liberty, and a people who still believe a man answers to God and the law, not to a foreign political creed dressed up as prayer. Islam in its orthodox form isn't that. It's a system of rule. It comes with a tax for outsiders, a death sentence for leaving, a duty of struggle against the unbeliever, and a long paper trail of groups that say they'll break this country from the inside. Call it a religion if you want to soothe the faculty lounge. The texts, the conquests, the polls, the terror cases, and the Brotherhood memo all say something harder. It's a political cult of supremacy that treats the United States as territory to be settled, not a home to be loved.

Liberals will shriek like banshees at this. They always do. They'll call this hate while they ignore 3,490 Nigerian Christians killed in one reporting year, while they ignore apostasy laws still on the books in more than ten countries, and while they ignore a 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document entered in federal court that called the work in America a grand jihad to destroy Western civilization from within. That isn't a sermon. That's a plan. If you love this country and you love the church that built its moral core, you don't owe that plan a courtesy title.

The kid still holds our flag, though the church behind him already flies theirs, and the enemy is already standing on the steps.

Look at the numbers first so nobody can say this is a ghost story. Pew now estimates about 5.5 million Muslims of all ages in the United States in 2026, more than double the 2.4 million it counted in 2007. Mosques went from roughly 1,200 in 2000 to nearly 2,800 by 2020. Other counts put active prayer spaces over 3,000. That growth isn't a crime by itself. Immigration and birth rates explain a lot of it. What matters is what's taught in those buildings and what political project rides in with the growth. A faith that stays in the heart and the chapel is one thing. A movement that wants public law, public office, and public silence about its own texts is another.

The book isn't vague. Quran 9:5 tells believers to kill polytheists wherever they find them when the sacred months end, then seize, besiege, and lie in wait. Quran 9:29 orders fighting People of the Book until they pay the jizya while they're humbled. Quran 8:12 speaks of terror cast into the hearts of those who disbelieve and of striking necks. Sahih Bukhari records the line that still rules courts in the Islamic world: whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him. You can find scholars who wrap those verses in history and context. You can also find the armies, the dhimmi codes, the slave markets, the modern hudud states, and the jihadist groups that took them as standing orders. America doesn't need a theology seminar. It needs to notice that a large share of the global ummah still wants sharia as public law, and that Pew found that desire strong in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Nigeria even in recent surveys. When people from those cultures arrive here and keep the same political demand, that isn't diversity. That's an import of a rival constitution.

The Brotherhood wrote it down for this country. In 1991 Mohamed Akram drafted An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America. The FBI recovered it. Federal prosecutors put it into the Holy Land Foundation trial. The words aren't subtle. Settlement in America is a civilization-jihadist process. The work is a grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it's eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. The memo listed friendly organizations. Names that still sit on letterhead today showed up in that world: ISNA, NAIT, MSA, and the network that later produced CAIR. Holy Land Foundation officers were convicted of sending more than twelve million dollars toward Hamas. That isn't a prayer circle. That's a political machine that uses civil rights language the way a burglar uses a lock pick.

They wrote the plan down in 1991. The memo is still sitting on the table, and the list of organizations is right there in black and white.

Washington has started to admit part of this. In January 2026 the Treasury and State Departments designated the Egyptian and Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood branches as Specially Designated Global Terrorists for material support to Hamas, and designated the Lebanese Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Senator Cruz has pushed a broader designation bill. That's late, and it isn't enough, but it proves the point conservatives have made for twenty years. The Brotherhood isn't a PTA. It's the parent of Hamas. Its American fronts learned how to smile on camera and sue critics while the long project continued. If your mosque or your advocacy shop is built on that soil, it isn't a house of worship in the American sense. It's an outpost.

The homeland record isn't old news. CSIS counted 140 jihadist attacks and plots in the United States from 1994 through the start of 2025. The ADL counted at least 142 Islamist extremist terror incidents from 2002 through the first half of 2026, with an uptick after 2023. Most ISIS-linked federal defendants since 2014 have been U.S. citizens. That should end the fairy tale that this is only a foreign fighter problem. On New Year's Day 2025, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, an American from Texas, drove a truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans and killed 14 people. The FBI called it terrorism. In June 2026 the Justice Department announced arrests in Kansas and California of men who allegedly pledged to ISIS, talked attacks, and moved money they thought was going to buy rockets and drones to kill American troops. Dearborn has produced its own case file: alleged ISIS support, firearms talk, a Halloween plot against an LGBTQ club, and a teenager prosecutors described as a ringleader who had already been in a chat about bombing a pride parade. That isn't random mental illness. That's an ideology that keeps finding young men in American zip codes.

Dearborn and Minneapolis are the warning lights on the dashboard. Dearborn has one of the densest Muslim populations in the country. Pastors have stood at city hall and said the city is no longer under American law in spirit. The council has fought over street names tied to men who praised Hezbollah's dead leader. A sheikh talks about Islam coming to America to help build it, which sounds gentle until you remember what "build" means in a system that doesn't accept a secular constitution as final. Minneapolis saw taxi drivers refuse passengers with alcohol, cashiers refuse pork, and reports of street patrols policing mixing of the sexes. Hamtramck seated an all-Muslim city council. None of that is the same as a Baptist majority voting for a dry county. The difference is the source law. Sharia isn't a local option on beer. It's a rival claim of sovereignty. When a community starts carving public life to fit that claim, the rest of the country is supposed to clap and call it inclusion. That's how you lose a city without a shot.\

They already own the sidewalk. The people who used to live here are already running.

Christians need to hear this without the usual cowardice. The church didn't build the West so that a political creed that punishes baptism and apostasy could sit in the school board and the State Department. Open Doors still finds the worst violence against Christians concentrated in places of Islamic oppression: Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Libya, Iran. Nigeria alone accounted for 3,490 of 4,849 Christians killed for their faith in the latest World Watch cycle. Those are brothers and sisters. The same ideology that hunts them overseas doesn't become a social club when it lands at JFK. If your pastor will preach about every American sin and go mute about this, he isn't being pastoral. He's being managed.

The First Amendment isn't a suicide pact. It protects the free exercise of religion. It doesn't protect a political party that uses minarets as cover. Article VI says no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office. The Founders meant no Anglican test and no Congregational test among Protestants who already accepted the same political order. They didn't mean we must hand the keys to people whose own law rejects equal citizenship for the unbeliever and who belong to networks that have financed designated terrorists. A man who believes leaving his faith is a death-penalty matter, who believes a caliphate is the end state, and who treats the Constitution as a temporary tool isn't fit for public office in a constitutional republic. Ban that political program from office. Vet for it. Make support for sharia supremacy, jihad doctrine, and Brotherhood fronts a disqualifier the same way we treat support for a foreign enemy. If the courts scream, change the statute and fight the case. The alternative is to watch the long march continue while we quote Madison at our own funeral.

Do we let our kids walk away with heads down in shame? Do we let these men point them away?

Mosques that produce terrorists aren't churches. They're recruiting halls. When an imam preaches the sword verses as standing policy, when a board funnels money to Hamas or ISIS, when a youth group is a pipeline into plots, the building has left the category of worship. Use the material support statutes. Use RICO where the facts fit. Use immigration law against the foreign preachers on visas. Padlock the ones that fail the test. Forcefully close means enforce the law without the twenty-year habit of treating every mosque as untouchable because a reporter will call you a bigot. The FBI already knows which pulpits light up after every overseas massacre. Stop pretending you don't.

Mass deportation isn't a slogan for talk radio. It's the only tool left when a political movement treats settlement as jihad. People here illegally go home. People who overstayed go home. People who lied on their forms go home. Naturalized citizens who hide material support or who take part in designated networks can face denaturalization where the law allows it. Sympathizers who openly back Hamas, ISIS, or the Brotherhood project after those groups are designated are telling you they aren't immigrants. They're cadres. A country that won't remove people who cheer the murder of Jews, the death of apostates, and the replacement of the Constitution isn't kind. It's finished. Europe already ran this experiment. The no-go habits, the grooming scandals, the synagogue attacks, and the politicians who still lecture the natives are the result. America doesn't have to copy the failure to prove it's virtuous.

Liberals will say most American Muslims are peaceful. Many are. Plenty of shopkeepers and doctors want no part of this. That isn't the argument. The argument is about the doctrine that still sits in the core texts, the institutions that still carry the Brotherhood map, the share of the global community that still wants sharia over the people's law, and the young men who keep getting arrested for the same plot with different screen names. A cult of hate doesn't need every member to pull a trigger. It needs a protected population, a set of untouchable buildings, a civil rights shield, and a press that attacks anyone who reads the manual out loud.

Socialists and campus leftists love this movement because they share the enemy. They both hate the old America of church, family, borders, and one law. They both talk liberation and practice control. They both treat Jews as the problem when the masks slip. After October 7, American campuses showed you the alliance in real time. Keep that picture. The people who won't condemn Hamas by name aren't confused. They picked a side.

For our children, we must still holds the flag on our own sidewalks. That is the line. Hold it.

Conservatives and Christians have been polite for a generation. Polite got us more mosques, more plots, more officials who treat criticism as a hate crime, and more cities where pastors have to shout just to be heard at a council meeting. Polite is over. Name the ideology. Stop importing it. Stop funding the fronts. Stop putting its loyalists on the ballot. Close the terror mills. Remove the people who came to take the house, not to join the family. That isn't cruelty. That's the minimum a free people do when a rival political religion announces the plan in writing and then acts on it.

If the Constitution forbids a religious test, why do we treat a political supremacy doctrine that rejects that same Constitution as if it were a denomination of Methodists?

If a 1991 memo called settlement in America a grand jihad to destroy the West from within, and federal prosecutors used that memo in a terror-finance trial, what more proof does a serious country need before it treats the network as hostile?

How many foiled plots and how many dead on Bourbon Street are required before a mosque that radicalizes kids is treated as a crime scene instead of a protected species?

What does it say about our churches that they'll fight a school board over pronouns and go quiet when Christians are slaughtered by the thousands under Islamic rule and when the same texts are preached here?

If Europe already showed you parallel societies, rape gangs, and politicians who fear their own imported voters, why would America keep the same immigration and speech rules and expect a different ending?

The danger isn't a feeling. It's a reality. Five and a half million people, thousands of mosques, a documented Brotherhood strategy, designated terror affiliates, an uptick in plots, cities already arguing over whose law runs the street, and a political class that would rather ruin your name than read a verse. Islam as practiced by the movement that wrote those verses and that memo isn't a guest faith. It's a claim of rule. A cult of hate doesn't get the courthouse, the pulpit of public office, or an open border. Ban that claim from office. Shut the factories of jihad. Send home the people who came to replace the Republic. Christians and conservatives who still have a spine should say it without apology, then vote and organize like they mean it. The Constitution isn't a welcome mat for its own replacement. It's a line. Hold it.
