Circle Back Psaki stated that “Thoughts and prayers are not enough.” The trans shooter yesterday remarked: “Where is your God?”  Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also mocked “thoughts and prayers.” It’s actually an age-old attempt to delete faith from people through the ages.

“Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, ‘Where is this God of yours?'” Psalm 42:3

Yes, the mocking of Christians and Jews is THAT old – thousands of years. Democrats continue to stumble into a lie that has been around for millennia.

Prayer is relationship. It is also petition. It is also thanksgiving. But God is not a vending machine. In this age of instant gratification – receiving the candy bar immediately when you push the button – left-leaning people are so into themselves that they refuse to care about the hearts of others. When bad things happen, like the horrific murders of children yesterday in Minnesota, Dems mock “thoughts and prayers” because they believe the answers should be instantaneous if God really exists.

They are wrong. Faith is much deeper than Democrats and leftists think. And prayer is not a magic circle of protection.

Jen, you sneer at prayer while ignoring the real problem your side’s trans activist with “Kill Trump” on his rifle. Prayer isn’t the issue. Woke politics, broken families, and soft-on-crime Democrats are. You mock God but protect the ideology that’s killing kids. That’s evil.

Faith is meant to bring us THROUGH the trials and tribulations of our lives. Prayer is a relationship with the Creator – an important place of solace and peace.

The children at Annunciation School weren’t praying so they could get treats – a tactic, by the way, often used by Communist regimes to “prove” God doesn’t exist. Thoughts and prayers are GOOD things, not something to be mocked.

The haters among us will one day have a reckoning. Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but their day is coming. Instead of attacking us all for our thoughts and prayers, perhaps a shred of kindness toward those who suffer losses would be better.
