Tyler Robinson was Antifa, into alphabet ideology, had a furry boyfriend, and hated Charlie Kirk. He inscribed Antifa messages on his bullets and all his friends and family said he had veered far left over the past few years.

But National Public Radio can't detect a political motive for his assassination of Charlie Kirk because we don't know what he thought about labor issues and immigration policy.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but these outlets don't deserve your trust. https://t.co/6xbDF0BMWd

As I said yesterday, you can't make this up. These people claim to be "journalists," but the fact is, as I have been saying for years, they are modern-day Pravda propagandists.
The presumed motive has added fire to a rash of speculation by high-reach conservatives, who have suggested that this motive equated to a political ideology. The same day Kirk was killed, President Trump claimed the shooter was a "radical leftist." Others have suggested that the suspect may have been "groomed" by a "trans terror cell" and that he was perhaps working with larger groups, including "antifa." So far, these claims have not been supported by publicly released evidence.
In fact, little is still known about Robinson's politics. According to the charging document, his mother told investigators that he had become more "pro-gay and trans-rights oriented" within the last year. It also includes a text message, allegedly written by Robinson, that said "since trump got into office [my dad] has been pretty diehard maga." But Robinson is not registered with a political party in Utah. There is no evidence of his positions on other issues of importance to the left, such as immigration or labor.
The dearth of information about Robinson's political views has suggested to some researchers of online culture and shootings that there may not, in fact, be much more to Robinson's alleged violence than a single-issue grievance. They say that one particular piece of information shared in the charging document lends support to this theory.

Perhaps they are waiting to see if he quoted Karl Marx or Robespierre, although Politifact insists that Zohran Mamdani isn't a communist despite his admiration for Marx and his desire to eliminate private property and "seize the means of production," so even that might not be enough to get media outlets such as NPR to give in and admit that Robinson was anything but a loving young man determined to protect his lover from mean Charlie Kirk.
Kirk, you see, was plotting to kill him. We all know that, right? Really, it was a form of self-defense if you think about it.
For researchers who examine how online culture manifests in the real world, this evidence strongly reinforces their analysis that Kirk's alleged shooter was obsessed with what some call the "performance of violence." They say that the use of online memes that are inscrutable to a general public likely was intended not to signal any political tendencies. Rather, these were meaningless in-group jokes primarily circulated among young, extremely online gamers; and, they are emulative of other acts of violence that have succeeded in stirring up discourse.
"If this guy had any clear intention, any clear operational goal, the fact that you, me and a ton of other people are sitting around and going, what does this dumb stuff [that] this 22-year old, online-poisoned, goober wrote on a bullet casing have to say about his politics?" said Elliot Chandler, a counter-extremism researcher. "Hey, mission accomplished, man. Like, hey — he got us."

We get this explanation from the people who insist that using the ubiquitous "OK" hand gesture is really evidence of White Supremacy, and that everything conservatives say is a "dog whistle."
I would normally say, "We all know you are lying, so give it up," except that there is an audience that longs to hear this crap and use it as an excuse to keep calling us fascists, Nazis, and "stochastic terrorists." For the 25% of the population who need validation for their outrageous behavior, NPR provides comfort.
How do I know this? Easy--it's working with that audience. Over 75% of Americans either don't know that Robinson was a radical leftist or even believe he is a Republican. More Americans believe Robinson was a Republican than believe he was a Democrat.
Thanks to media lies. They are intentionally muddying the waters.
As I have said before, the fact that Robinson was a leftist is in many ways less important to analyzing left-wing propensities to violence and the same phenomenon on the right. No doubt there are right-wingers who have or will commit horrible deeds, because...human beings. In recent years, the evidence of our eyes shows that left-wingers are more violent, but even if that were not true, it misses the point.

Here’s 2 and a half minutes straight of Democrats explicitly calling for political violence.
Has Biden ever denounced this?

Liberals celebrate and encourage violence. They cheer at Luigi Mangione, they encourage rioting, they celebrate Charlie Kirk's assassination, and they use the raised fist as their political symbol of choice.
Conservatives don't do anything similar. Not even close.
"Those who justify the murder of Musk or Trump are more likely to support Luigi Mangione’s killing ... Left-Wing Authoritarianism (LWA) [is] characterized by moral absolutism, punitive attitudes toward opponents, and a willingness to use coercion...." pic.twitter.com/AzpxpXZuUk

There is a lust for violence that comes out at every opportunity, and you can see it in the polls: very liberal people will say they approve of violence as a means of getting their way; very conservative people do not.
Over 50% of Democrats said that murdering Donald Trump was justified. They actually told pollsters that. That is shocking. Or it should be shocking, but we are all used to it by now.
Moderate Democrats need to open their eyes to the people with whom they associate. Until they do, they are complicit in this culture.
