again...a story not being covered by the lame stream media!!!

"The “Obama variant” of COVID-19 is wreaking havoc on Martha’s Vineyard’s only hospital and threatening to overrun its capacity.
Nearly two weeks after former president Barack Obama, 60, threw himself a “super spreader” birthday party at his $17.5 million island estate, the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is reporting its highest number of COVID-19 patients since the pandemic began.
According to the Vineyard Gazette, the hospital has three patients hospitalized with COVID-19, a fourth who is being monitored for symptoms, and a fifth who last week had to be airlifted to Boston in critical condition.
“This is the highest amount of COVID-positive patient activity that we’ve had since the onset of the pandemic,” Clair Seguin, chief nurse and head of hospital operations, told reporters on Wednesday."

A lot they don't cover, and a lot they cover that is not newsworthy. In Germany, some of the right wing refer to what they call the "lying press". My take is that description is not particularly accurate. It is more a game of distortion and distraction that is accomplished by selectivity in what they choose to publish. There are, of course, some outright fabrications -- like the German reporter caught lying about interviews with people on the southern border of the USA. But most of it is manipulation via the promotion of chosen narratives. And it works because most of us don't have time to gather more information and sift the wheat from the chaff.

"The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.
Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.
"Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases," said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. "Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages."
