Useless GOP as Quasi-Communist Dems Rule on ICE & CBP Funds

In two weeks, there will be no more money to pay ICE or CBP. Democrats will not allow deportations and will go to any lengths. Senate Republicans had cut CBP and ICE funding out of the DHS appropriations bill in the middle of the night to appease Democrats. Now, they’re running out of money again. Funds in the Big, Beautiful bill are being spent on things other than mass deportations, which means no mass deportations, or perhaps any deportations at all. Democrats wanted to destroy the BBB and are succeeding because of the Republicans. Democrats are running the country even though they are the minority. Republicans won’t eliminate the filibuster and the blue slip. Both parties are destroying this country. The first thing Democrats will do when they return to power is drop the filibuster and take complete control of the government. Democrats are communists, and Republicans are weak or progressives or just hate Trump so much that they won’t let the agenda go through. No party is working for any of us. This is infuriating. Get out of wars, and do something about this. John Thune Is Holding Back Vital Info on the Russiagate Hoax

Earlier this year, the U.S. Justice Department asked two Senate committees to provide transcripts and records of contacts with former CIA Director John Brennan in the Russia collusion hoax. They were supposed to comply by February 23rd, Just the News reports. It’s now April, and the body run by John Thune has not complied. The investigation is to determine if the Obama and Biden government officials weaponized law enforcement and intelligence to harm President Donald Trump and his followers. That would seem pretty important to investigate while we still can. All that is needed, senators told Just the News, is a resolution to be introduced and a floor vote in the GOP-controlled Senate. Neither has happened — even after prosecutors narrowed their requests to evidence related to Brennan. Thune’s team has told DOJ the Senate leader is trying to get unanimous consent to transmit the evidence, negotiating with Democrats to avoid a floor vote that could slow down other legislation. The delays in the Senate come as acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is ramping up resources in Florida and Washington DC to develop the weaponization conspiracy case. The career prosecutor who was running the weaponization probe was sent back to her post in Miami this week, and former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova is set to start Monday as the new lead prosecutor on Russia collusion matters. This seems to be corruption in the Republican Senate. John Thune is a disaster as a leader, but he is also saddled with fake Republicans like Thom Tillis and Lisa Murkowski. Let’s not forget Mitch McConnell and a few others. The post John Thune Is Holding Back Vital Info on the Russiagate Hoax appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Alan Dershowitz Becomes a Republican and a Yankee Fan

Alan Dershowitz switched teams. He is joining the Republican Party, and one reason is that the Democrat Party is antisemitic. Dersh, as he is called, doesn’t agree with everything the Republican Party stands for, so I guess he will be a quasi-Republican or RINOish. He has finally cut the cord after they voted unanimously to let a radical lunatic, Abdul El-Sayed, run for the Senate. The Democratic Party has become the most anti-Israel party in U.S. history. Last week, all but seven Senate Democrats voted for an arms embargo against the Jewish state, and an avowed enemy of Israel, Abdul El-Sayed, is gaining ground in the Democratic campaign for U.S. senator from Michigan. There is no denying that the hard left, anti-Israel wing of the Democratic Party has moved from the fringe to the mainstream. Until recently, there was an age gap, with younger voters more strongly opposing Israel, but recent polls suggest that the trend now includes Democrats of all ages. Republicans have their own antisemitic fringe, but for now, it remains a fringe. He disagrees with Republicans on a number of issues, but the antisemitism was the last straw: I still disagree strongly with the GOP on abortion, the separation of church and state, immigration, healthcare, and taxes, among other things. Yet I’ve decided to bite the bullet and register as a Republican. He gave up on the Democrat Party and hopes to change the Republican Party. However, and this is important, he sees Democrats as moving dangerously radical left: I believe that the Democratic Party’s hostility to Israel represents a deeper and more dangerous shift away from the center and toward a radical approach that is bad for America and the free world. So I intend to work hard to prevent the Democrats from gaining control of the House and Senate, and I urge those who share my concerns about the increasing influence of radicalism in the Democratic Party to vote, campaign, and contribute for continued Republican control of Congress. I will contribute money to Republican candidates, campaign for them, make speeches at Republican events, and urge pro-Israel Americans to change party affiliation or at least vote against Democrats. Until something changes, I will vote Republican for representative, senator, and president. I wish I could designate myself as a “foreign-policy Republican,” but there’s no such option, so I have to go whole hog. By registering as a Republican rather than an independent, maybe I can have some influence on moving some Republican policies toward the center. I have given up on trying to change the Democratic Party. It’s a break in the eternally-Democrat link of prominent Jews and the Party. I doubt the new Democrats will care. They truly are anti-Jewish. Besides, they have every lunatic group imaginable on their side, and they have illegal aliens, all pushing for communism. Republicans have some nuts, but not fascists or Nazis; Democrats own those groups, but Republicans own some fringe thinkers. Magas are moving away from those who are really outlandish. Dershowitz is also becoming a Yankee fan and dropping the Red Sox because the team’s owners, the Henrys, never forgave him for defending Donald Trump in a case where he felt Trump was innocent. Dershowitz doesn’t choose his clients according to party politics. The post Alan Dershowitz Becomes a Republican and a Yankee Fan appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Alex Jones Flipping Out Over Claims The Onion Leased Infowars

Last year, the satirical site The Onion bought Infowars in a secret deal. The sale was forced by Sandy Hook families who won a $1.3 million judgment against Jones for a hoax, claiming no one died at Sandy Hook. Jones’s hoax led to the families of the murdered children receiving death threats. The Onion is back, demanding Infowars. Leasing Infowars to Mock Infowars In December 2024, the satirical news site initially won the court-ordered auction for Infowars when it was first put up for sale. However, a U.S. bankruptcy judge blocked the sale, stating that the auction did not yield the best possible bids. Then, a year later, a Texas judge ruled on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, that Infowars could again be put up for sale, paving the way for The Onion to make another bid. The current deal is not for The Onion to own Infowars, but rather to obtain a temporary license to Infowars’ intellectual property from its parent company, Free Speech Systems. The goal is to destroy Infowars and, they hope, Alex Jones. The Onion is a part of the Bloomberg group. Papers filed in state court indicate that the deal entails The Onion paying $81,000 a month to license the Infowars.com domain and brand name, as reported by KOUW.  Ben Collins, CEO of the Onion’s parent company, Global Tetrahedron, told the Associated Press that the deal could be in place around April 30th. The Onion plans to mock Alex Jones and others. Jones claims Trump backed Todd Blanche for dropping an investigation into the FBI’s involvement in the Sandy Hook judgment against Jones. Blanche did send a letter to Mr. Martin to drop the probe. However, there was never an investigation. Jones is going to fight it. He will have a new site. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. Two Florida Lawmakers Face Expulsion from Congress

Two Florida lawmakers could become the seventh and eighth members to ever be expelled from Congress. Cherfilus-McCormick was found guilty by the Ethics Committee on a litany of charges, most notably for funneling $5 million in COVID relief funds to her congressional campaign. She has denied wrongdoing. There is substantial evidence that she stole $5 million. Mills faces allegations including financial misconduct, campaign finance violations, and sexual misconduct, all of which he denies. Reps. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) and Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) resigned last week ahead of imminent expulsion votes over alleged sexual misconduct. Both denied the allegations. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) signaled support last week for Greg Steube’s (R-Fla.) plan to introduce a resolution Tuesday to expel Cherfilus-McCormick—after the House Ethics Committee makes its disciplinary recommendations. Johnson declined to answer last week when pressed on whether Mills — still under investigation by the Ethics Committee — should go too. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) introduced a resolution Monday evening to expel Mills at the same time as Cherfilus-McCormick. She dislikes Mills. They argue publicly. However, it could be months until the Ethics Committee releases findings on Mills. I’m glad they are at least looking for evidence. Hakeem Jeffries signaled he is not prepared to support a retaliatory expulsion measure against Mills before he receives full due process, telling reporters he is “waiting for the Ethics Committee to report out what’s going on in terms of the investigation.” Clean house, but make sure they warrant it. I’d like to see the Democrats rooting for Iran expelled. The post Two Florida Lawmakers Face Expulsion from Congress appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.
