Leonard Lauder, Chairman Emeritus of Estée Lauder Companies Inc., passed away at age 92. Leonard was a pioneer in the cosmetics industry and helped create some of the biggest brands in the beauty world. Leonard Lauder’s son, William P. Lauder, announced his father’s death in a news release. “He was the most charitable man I have ever known, believing that art and education belonged to everyone and championing the fight against diseases such as Alzheimer’s and breast cancer.
