David Hekili Kenui Bell made his big-screen debut as a memorable and lovable character in the new Disney film. Jalene Kanani Bell, David’s sister, announced his death on Facebook in a heartbreaking post. “It is with a heavy heart I share that my sweet, generous, talented, funny, brilliant and handsome little brother David H. The film industry and entertainment was so exciting to him and I loved that he enjoyed the arts. He went to Punahou and Kalani while our dad spoke Hawaiian so his ability to deliver lines with English understanding, Indigenous knowledge and Pidgen to da Max…made him a diamond in the rough,” she wrote. “You can hear him over the PA system on arrival at Kona Airport where he loved working to create an awesome and safe customer experience. “ Police Did Not Release David Hekili Kenui Bell’s Cause Of Death Loved ones shared their sadness at David Hekili Kenui Bell’s passing. “We’re so sorry to hear about this lost of your ohana. while i didn’t know david well he was always super nice to us whenever we ran into him,” a friend wrote on Facebook. “So sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. Our prayers go out to you and the Ohana,” a friend agreed. According to People, police confirmed David Hekili Kenui Bell’s death and said it remains under investigation.
