This will not be the first time that a US ship is attacked by Israel military forces. The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and Israeli Navy motor torpedo boats, on 8 June 1967, during the Six-Day War. The poor marines and people (those who survived and are still alive) in the vessel are still trying to get some justice.
