The song It’s a Small World might be one of the most annoying earworms that ever earwormed. Unfortunately, it’s a necessary evil, so we can discuss the differences between the Paris It’s a Small World depiction of the USA and what we see in our United States parks. @myriamestrella8 My mind is blown!!! ♬ original sound – myriam gets healthy Each park features a customized ride that focuses on the other countries around the world. In the USA parks, It’s a Small World barely shows any representation of the United States. In the current ride, after renovations in 2007, there are only two dolls for the US at the end of the ride. On a trip to Paris, Myriam Estrella of Florida went through the Small World ride and was surprised at the representation of the USA. The displays are not in proper order, but it seems they have tried to include much of Americana past and present. They selected a representative city from each coast, with New York and San Francisco. The American Farmer appears in a hay wagon with a barn and silo in the background. Native Americans and Indigenous tribes have representation in traditional tribal costumes, although we can’t personally vouch for the authenticity. Image from TikTok. All things considered, they did a wonderful job in compiling a representative sampling of all things USA. Right down to including our two favorite sports, football and baseball.
