President Trump has now called for a special prosecutor to finally put a legitimate investigation together into the 2020 election! His comments for the appointment came in a Truth Social post. The President slammed the wide-open border policy of the last four years while calling for a special prosecutor to address the ‘total fraud’ of the election results. Here’s the President’s post in which he claims Biden lost ‘by a LANDSLIDE’: Here is the full text of his post, in case that’s hard to read: Zero Border crossings for the month for TRUMP, verses 60,000 for Sleepy, Crooked Joe Biden, a man who lost the 2020 Presidential Election by a “LANDSLIDE!” Biden was grossly incompetent, and the 2020 election was a total FRAUD! The evidence is MASSIVE and OVERWHELMING. A Special Prosecutor must be appointed. This cannot be allowed to happen again in the United States of America! Let the work begin! What this Crooked man, and his CORRUPT CRONIES, have done to our Country in 4 years, is grossly indescribable! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Democrats have often derided the President’s insistence on looking into the 2020 election fraud allegations, framing it as a prideful inability to admit defeat. President Trump — and a large percentage of the country that just put him back in the White House — has consistently demanded the need for transparency and justice in order to ensure American elections stay (or return… depending on your view) to a standard of fair and secure. The longstanding assumption by many that the media played a role in what President Trump has called a “total fraud” of an election is only amplified by the near impossible task of finding a mainstream media source that doesn’t refer to the President’s assertions as “baseless” in some way. Here’s a great example — this is the LEAST obvious anti-Trump mainstream source I could find, and the Associated Press STILL manages to call the President’s concerns “baseless” in this report: President Donald Trump on Friday called for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the 2020 election won by Democrat Joe Biden, repeating his baseless claim that the contest was marred by widespread fraud. “Biden was grossly incompetent, and the 2020 election was a total FRAUD!” Trump said in a social media post in which he also sought to favorably contrast his immigration enforcement approach with that of the former president. Earlier this month, Trump directed his administration to investigate Biden’s actions as president, alleging aides masked his predecessor’s “cognitive decline.” Biden has dismissed the investigation as “a mere distraction.” The Justice Department in recent years has appointed a succession of special counsels — sometimes, though not always, plucked from outside the agency — to lead investigations into politically sensitive matters, including into conduct by Biden and by Trump. (Emphasis added.) The majority of reactions from MAGA and President Trump’s base of support was one of excitement, coupled with ADVICE. But possibly the biggest question of all was asked by citizen journalist Tony Seruga: That would be the million dollar question. It’s one thing for the President to call for a special prosecutor to take on an investigation of this magnitude; it’s a whole other ball game for Pam Bondi’s DOJ to actually initiate that process. The prospect of a definitive investigation into what many see as obvious and enormous fraud (including the President…) was met with immediate suggestions for WHO that potential special prosecutor should be, if the DOJ actually steps down that road. FBI emails now prove that was very much happening. Those specifics were just made known by the FBI on Wednesday, seemingly setting the stage for the President’s call for a special prosecutor. Those internal FBI emails go back as far as the infamous Steele Dossier, and knowingly false claims that it was accurate, according to the New York Post: Internal FBI emails reveal that rogue agents and prosecutors in the Biden DOJ were looking for ways to pile on new criminal charges against Donald Trump over the Jan. 6 Capitol riot — this time over his involvement with the J6 prisoner choir, based on a single partisan news article. The 2023 emails obtained by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and revealed exclusively to The Post are an example of the nitpicking malice of anti-Trump lawfare that tainted special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation, during Joe Biden’s presidency. “Can we do some work to nail down Trump’s role in this,” writes prosecutor JP Cooney to DOJ colleagues on March 8, 2023, in an email with the subject line “J6 Prisoner Choir/DJT” and an attached Forbes.com article titled “Trump Collaborates On Song With Jan. 6 Defendants.” Cooney was a deputy special counsel who worked on both the Robert Mueller and Smith get-Trump special counsel investigations. His email was forwarded to eight agents and DOJ staff, including notorious anti-Trump FBI Special Agent Walter Giardina, who responded two days later to say he was investigating the claims in the Forbes article about Trump and the J6 prisoner choir: “Esther and I are working on this today. We’re going to put together our findings at 2 and get something to you shortly after that.” Giardina was “Agent Zero” in a lot of overzealous FBI actions involving Trump and his allies, including the investigation of Trump White House adviser Dr. Peter Navarro on contempt of Congress charges for refusing to appear before the House committee investigating the J6 riot. It was Giardina’s FBI team that arrested Navarro as he was about to board a plane at Reagan National Airport in 2022, put him in leg irons and threw him in jail instead of simply issuing a summons for him to come to court, as the federal judge overseeing the case later said while criticizing the heavy-handedness. Giardina was also significantly involved in Operation Crossfire Hurricane (the debunked Russia collusion investigation against Trump), Mueller’s investigation and cases involving Trump allies Dan Scavino and Roger Stone, as well as the Hillary Clinton emails case. According to Grassley, Giardina was an “initial recipient of the Steele Dossier” and falsely claimed that the bogus Clinton campaign smear sheet against Trump was corroborated as “true.” Giardina also “electronically wiped the laptop he was assigned while working for Special Counsel Mueller outside of established protocol for record preservation, raising the possibility that he destroyed government records.” As O’Handley put it in his DC_Draino post I referenced earlier: “a beautiful war plan” is unfolding. Or, as I might put it, a counter-strike against those who weaponized America’s most sacred institutions — including our election system — in ways unheard of in all our history. The President has made his support for a full investigation official, if it wasn’t already. Now there remains but those two big questions to start this ball rolling: Will Pam Bondi’s DOJ step up to the plate?
