Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Party At Jason Aldean’s Bar In Nashville & The Swifties Are Already Mad About It

At least it wasn’t Morgan Wallen’s I guess. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have kept a relatively low profile since the Super Bowl, no doubt happy that they both have some free time at the same time for once in their relationship. Since the pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have been dating, Swift has been traveling the world on her Eras Tour during most of the NFL’s offseason. But with the tour wrapped up and the NFL season still a couple months away, it seems they’ve been spending some private time together and enjoying their relationship out of the spotlight. But Kelce obviously still has some work commitments during the offseason, including his own Tight End University, a program created by Kelce along with NFL veterans George Kittle and Greg Olsen to help develop the next generation of tight ends at the professional level. This year’s annual event is taking place in Nashville – which happens to be just a few minutes away from Taylor Swift’s hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee. And of course the pop star joined Kelce in town for TEU, with the two hitting up an afterparty last night at Jason Aldean’s downtown Nashville bar. Obviously Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany have been outspoken Donald Trump supporters, with Jason even performing at Trump’s inauguration back in January. Swift, meanwhile, endorsed Kamala Harris in her failed 2024 presidential campaign, and apparently their hero even setting foot in Aldean’s bar was too much for some Swifties: Jason aldean… https://t.co/V2U9HYayWN pic.twitter.com/kaS7bukpLp — Devin (@Naturedev24) June 24, 2025 ain’t no way why is she at a bar owned by jason aldean of all people — river ⎕ (@mattysguitar75) June 24, 2025 ew — cowboy renee (@rapproan) June 24, 2025 jason aldean??? really?? — rosie (@folklorrian) June 24, 2025 Of course Aldean doesn’t actually own his bar: Like most of the venues on Broadway, it’s owned by a large hospitality corporation, TC Restaurant Group, which also owns bars like Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, and Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge, among others. And a lot of the outrage surrounding Jason Aldean these days comes not just from his support of Trump, but from the disingenuous cries of racism over his song “Try That In A Small Town.” The song went #1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 songs chart back in 2023 after the left tried to cancel it as “racist,” despite the fact that the song doesn’t mention anything about race. Then there was the whole thing about the courthouse in the music video being the site of a lynching back in the 1920s…it was exhausting, but I’m sure you still remember everything that went down. Anyway, the point is, Swift simply being in a bar named after somebody whose political views are opposite of hers is apparently a problem for the cult-like Swifties. The irony, though, is that while the Swifties get mad at Trump supporters, Taylor herself clearly doesn’t seem to have a problem being friends with those from across the political aisle, like Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. Of course Swifties might also still be mad that she was booed at the Super Bowl this year, while the crowd audibly cheered for President Trump while he was in attendance. But I have a feeling the boos had more to do with her being there supporting the Chiefs in a crowd that was largely made up of Philadelphia Eagles fans…The post Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Party At Jason Aldean’s Bar In Nashville & The Swifties Are Already Mad About It first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
