On Sunday, June 22, a bulge formed on a busy road in the city of Cape Girardeau. For many drivers, this posed no threat — but then the road buckled. Road buckling can lead to wrecks and car damage. When bad enough, these temperature changes and the expansion of the concrete can lead to a buckling.
