Dog Mom Shares How Pup Lives Up To His “Bully” Breed — And It’s Not The Way You Think!
Kairo is a bully. Willow is a husky. While both breeds have their quirks, it’s time to discuss why the “bully breeds” have such a bad reputation. “Bully” comes from pit bull, but the nickname includes a wide array of terriers, such as the American Staffordshire terrier. In some instances, people might say the title has been well-earned.

Did you see that? Kairo is totally and completely being the bully that the breed is reputed to be! Notice that icy stare, boring to the depths of his mom’s soul. Unable to jump down from his perch on the sofa, he leaned back as far as he could, hanging his head. This was clearly an attempt to “bully” his mom into a pity response.
He is acting like he is starving to death. She is unfairly withholding food from him. Who is the real bully here? Kairo would have you believe it is his mom. This dog is clearly a bully. Watch as he tries to bully his mom into letting him outside with his stuffy.

Hype is hype, and 95 percent of the reputation of all the bully breeds comes from the five percent of bad actors. Consider that even that small percentage is the result of human intervention and training. People have become afraid of a dog breed with no real conception of the breed itself. Ask the owner of a bully breed.
They are fierce and loyal to a fault. They are gentle babysitters and make excellent nanny dogs. Petey from the original “Little Rascals” was an American Staffordshire terrier. They will defend their owners or anyone who is in distress.
They will also bully their owners with those pitiful eyes, so beware.
Please share.
