Jenks pitched for the White Sox from 2005 until 2010 and for the Red Sox in 2011. In his time in Chicago, Jenks amassed 173 saves, including back-to-back seasons of 40+ saves in 2006 and 2007,” MLB shared. “Jenks was named an American League All-Star in both of those seasons; Jenks was on the mound as the White Sox recorded the final out of the 2005 World Series, which finished off the 4-game sweep of the Houston Astros and secured the franchise’s first World Series championship since 1917.
