When Daughter Breaks Her Wrist, She Enlists Unlikely Help For Farm Chores

This young lady is an up-and-coming barrel racer. She broke her wrist riding a bike, and it puts a damper on tasks that require two hands to perform. The clever teen, since she isn’t practicing her barrel racing technique, taught her horse, Ash, to help with her chores around the farm. Animals are intelligent, and Ash is also eager to please. Carrying the water trough is one of those chores.

As the video shows, the teen is using her broken arm to carry an empty water bucket. With her other hand, she is holding the large water trough while her horse dutifully grabs the other side with its mouth to carry it across the pasture. This is a genius solution. Part of being a top-notch barrel racer is the bond you have with your horse. Since she can’t practice riding, she has found an excellent way to strengthen her bond with Ash.

The dappled gray horse used to be her mom’s favorite horse. When she first started riding at ten, her Mom saw the chemistry between the girl and the horse and gave up Ash. The kid and the horse have become very attached.
In the comments section, Mom says they will be putting up a video on how she managed to train Ash to help with her farm chores. Please follow their TikTok page if you want to see that update.
