She approached the main entrance of Mar-a-Lago, asking to speak directly to Trump. She claimed to have a critical message for the president. Reinke was carrying two firearms in her car — a pistol and a rifle — but did not brandish or threaten anyone. Secret Service agents and Palm Beach Police intercepted her at the entrance, and she complied peacefully with law enforcement. Authorities did not find any evidence of a direct threat against Trump or anyone else. However, she was charged with armed trespassing and resisting an officer without violence. She reportedly believed she was being followed and told authorities that only Trump could help her. A judge ordered her to have no contact with Donald Trump, and she was later released on bond with a GPS monitor. Trump was not at Mar-a-Lago at the time of the incident. The woman has a history of mental health issues, according to officials, and her motives appear to have been driven more by distress than malice. No injuries or violence occurred during the incident.
