VP JD Vance Reveals Kamala Harris BLOCKED His Kids From Touring VP Residence
Vice President JD Vance exposed Kamala Harris in his latest interview.
While speaking on the Katie Miller podcast, Vance revealed that former Vice President Kamala Harris denied his kids the opportunity to tour the vice president’s residence.
Vance requested the tour to show his children where they would be living for the next four years.
The Daily Wire reported more on Vance exposing Kamala’s move:
Former Vice President Kamala Harris “rebuffed” a request from the Vance family to allow their children a tour of the vice president’s residence ahead of the inauguration, according to Vice President JD Vance.
Vance revealed the apparent snub during an appearance on the inaugural episode of the Katie Miller Podcast that aired on Monday. Harris, branded as “Momala” during the presidential campaign, reportedly denied the Vance children an early chance to see the house they would live in for the next four years.
“I think that, normally, it’s customary for the outgoing vice president to show the incoming vice president’s family the house,” Vance said. “We have three little kids, so I guess at the time our kids were, like, 7, 5, and, you know, 2 – I guess Mirabel turned 3 right before the inauguration.”
“Usha really wanted to show [the children where they would be living], so what we actually proposed is, recognizing the weirdness of the politics, can Usha take the kids over and just show them where they’re going to be living for the next 4 years, and they were rebuffed,” Vance said.
Instead, Vance and his wife introduced their children to the vice presidential residence through photos.
“A friend of ours in Cincinnati had a book about the vice president’s residence, and so we would show the kids what it would look like, but that’s as close as they ever got to it” before the inauguration, Vance said.

ABC News reported more details about Vance’s children:
As JD Vance has stepped into the spotlight as vice president of the United States, so too has his family, the country’s new second family.
Vance and his wife Usha and their three children now call the vice president’s mansion on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., home.
In April, the Vance family traveled to India for a four-day visit, during which JD Vance joined trade talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
JD and Usha Vance share three children: Ewan Vance, Vivek Vance and Mirabel Vance.
The couple keep their children largely out of the public spotlight.
The three siblings though attended the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20, at the U.S. Capitol to watch their father’s swearing in as vice president.
Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel also joined their parents on Election Day, Nov. 5, 2024, when the Vances voted together in Cincinnati.
In February 2024, JD Vance, at the time a U.S. senator from Ohio, read the Dr. Seuss book, “Oh the Places You’ll Go” on the Senate floor to mark Vivek’s fourth birthday.
“I’m sorry Vivek that I can’t be with you for your birthday dinner, but I want you to know that Daddy loves you very much. And I’m going to read this into the record because maybe you can watch it at home,” Vance said, in part, before reading the book aloud.
