Birds Of A Feather: Parrot Makes Incredibly Unlikely Friend At Her Window

Living in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is a Congo African grey parrot named Coco. While living a solitary life with no siblings and asking the local leprechaun for a best friend, the bird soon met a tuxedo cat. The parrot may “think” the cat is his best friend, but the cat seems to think Coco would make a great lunch. @clairerosa90 Another episode of unlikely animal friendships. The cat jumps up at the window again at the end. After I stopped recorded coco said “don’t be cheeky to bird. The cat was cheeky to bird” can’t believe I didn’t get that recorded #unlikelyanimalfriends #cat #catdiaries #parrot #parrottok #talkingparrot #africangreyparrot #africangrey #parrotsoftiktok ♬ original sound – Claire Rosa Coco has a limited vocabulary, but he does love to hear himself talk. He keeps up a pretty good stream of chatter throughout the day. He has a not-so-nice nickname for his human mom, Claire Rosa, and their Alexa device. She is trying to break him of those habits while encouraging better words. The Congo African grey parrot is a very talkative species. When the animal visits, Coco announces to the room, “Look, a cat.” The silly parrot tries to “boop” his friend through the window. The inside bird seems to be a curiosity for the neighborhood cats. In addition to the little tuxedo, they have at least five other cats that visit to say hello to Coco. The bird only has eyes for one, though. Image from TikTok. We don’t think Claire Rosa is Coco’s first human. He has an affinity for certain aspects of the human anatomy and an adoration of insults. According to Coco, it is not him pooping on the paper, and he has even blamed it on the cat, which has never been inside. Tossing the bird in the bin (trash can) seems to be a threat that poor Coco has heard enough to have it in his repertoire. Claire assures us that he has never been tossed in the bin.
