Speculation that Trump might have died hit a fever pitch on social media over the weekend because of his decision to stay at the White House for the long holiday weekend and remain largely absent from the public eye. The president then asserted that there’s no way he could be in ill health because he’s done “numerous news conferences” recently and they were “all successful.” He said he “was very active over the weekend,” despite there being no apparent activity at the White House. Trump also pointed to his activity on social media as evidence of his existence.
