If you’re ready for some incredible happy tears, grab your tissues (you’ll need at least three) and keep reading. When Minnesota native Kenneth Jary joined TikTok at 79, he was an instant hit. Dubbed Patriotic Kenny, with the help of his neighbor, Amanda, he began creating inspirational and positive content. Fast forward four years. Kenny is now 83 and working on completing several bucket list items in Alaska. @patriotickenny SEAPLANE! When the Radio Operator talked directly to me, I about fell out of the plane. This was one activity I wanted to do so badly back when we started planning in February. I was really looking forward to it and then I met the most amazing pilot, @Spencer Warren from @DestinationAlaska He was so kind and wonderful. This was such an unreal experience! ♬ original sound – patriotickenny This particular bucket list item is to fly to Alaska in a seaplane. Kenny got to check this off his list in addition to at least seven other life events. As they took off, Kenny looked out the window and all he could say was, “Wow.” Spencer, the pilot, explained that they were flying in a float plane in Alaska. He later jokingly welcomed them to his office as the passengers exclaimed about the beauty of the landscape beneath them. As they flew, Kenny told Amanda (who was in the back seat) to look out the windows. He wondered how many moose were in the forests below them. They saw snow-capped mountains and sheep out on the tundra. The group saw cows that looked like specks of pepper, and it took some convincing for Kenny to believe they were cows. Image from TikTok. They had such a smooth landing that Kenny didn’t even realize they had touched down and were on the water.
