Cuteness Compilation: Baby Flamingo Antics Are Guaranteed To Brighten Your Day
Flamingos have got to be some of the coolest birds. Their long legs and vibrant pink feathers makes them stand out in such a fun way. Plus, there’s just something so elegant about them. That said, flamingos don’t start off that way… at all. At first, baby flamingos have gray or white feathers. And, like other little ones, they aren’t able to walk, much less stand.
But none of that is a bad thing. On the contrary, it’s an absolute joy to witness a baby flamingo as they attempt to take their very first steps. These curious creatures don’t let anything stop them! Luckily, the San Antonio Zoo shared the cutest compilation of a baby flamingo in their own habitat. Watch the video below to see the little guy in action!

“He’s learning how to flamingo!” someone aptly says in reply to this adorable compilation. Other commenters add, “I love baby anything. Oh my gosh. The little wings and huge feet. He hasn’t grown into his body yet” and “I don’t need a baby flamingo, I don’t need a baby flamingo, I don’t need a baby flamingo.”

Unlike human babies, flamingos are quick to start walking. At first, their legs are swollen. But once 48 hours pass, soon enough, they’re trying their best to learn how to put one foot in front of the other. In fact, it only takes about four to seven days for them to successfully walk!
Flamingos truly are adorable at any age. Speaking of which, have you ever seen a group of these bright birds find a clever way to cool down in the summer heat? A woman visiting a beach in Aruba certainly did, and she shared a video of it online!
