Yesterday, two sheriff’s deputies in Lubbock, Texas stopped to help someone stranded on the highway. But before they could finish helping the driver, a semi-truck hit the duo’s nearby patrol unit. This sent the car straight toward the deputies, leaving them pinned up against a guardrail on I-27. Help was on the way, but an unlikely group arrived on the scene first and saved the Texas deputy. With one deputy dangling over the guardrail, there wasn’t any time to waste. Luckily, a group of nearby citizens gathered together to keep the man safe. In fact, they managed to lift him over the guardrail and back to safety. Thanks brothers.” Deputy Found Dangling Off Highway in Texas Gets Saved by a Group of Brave Citizens Soon after the deputy was brought back to solid ground, an ambulance arrived to take both men to the hospital. While their injuries are said to be serious, reports also say they are expected to be okay. As you’d imagine, the entirety of the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office are grateful for everyone who risked their own lives to save these two deputies.
