A groom was caught on camera single-handedly saving his wedding day… quite literally! As anyone who has gotten married will tell you, not many weddings can go off without a hitch. Still, when this bride and groom prepared for their big day, they likely never imagined having to deal with insects. At least not like this, anyway! At first, the ceremony went smoothly. The couple held hands as they looked into each other’s eyes, ready to say their vows. But right when it was the bride’s turn to speak, an unwanted guest secretly made its way down the back of her dress. Although the bride tried to go on like normal, she quickly realized something was wrong. Just when it seemed like this would be tricky, the groom swooped in to save the day. Best of all, he made it look effortless! All he had to do was grab the hornet with his bare hands and voilà! His bride was no longer in danger of the pesky hornet. A single hornet can sting someone once or multiple times. Typically, a sting will only lead to a mild reaction like itching, pain, and a raised reddish area. These symptoms still aren’t idea for a bride. But in a worst-case scenario, a sting can lead to a life-threatening allergic reaction.
