“Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider has shared his perspective following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The actor, who has long used his platform to speak on cultural and political issues, believes Kirk’s death will not silence younger voices but instead inspire them to speak louder. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Schneider reflected on the impact of Kirk’s life and the shocking circumstances surrounding his death. “I think Charlie’s example is going to be vast. I think it already is. I see it in some of the young folks, young political activists,” he said. Schneider explained that the tragedy strengthens people’s resolve instead of quieting them. “Louder And Prouder” Voices Ahead John Schneider/Instagram Schneider believes the assassination will not achieve the silence some may have expected. “I think perhaps other people thought it would quiet people down, but I don’t think it’s going to. I think we’re going to be louder and prouder,” he explained. Though he hesitated to use the word, Schneider admitted he now sees Charlie Kirk as a martyr. Through it, he hopes to honor Kirk’s message and ensure it continues to resonate. “In fact, it is going to be louder than ever before. And we’ll all be better people if we start using Charlie’s voice,” Schneider said. He emphasized that free speech—conservative or liberal—must remain protected in America. He urged people to resolve disagreements through conversation rather than violence. “So yeah, I hope, I pray, and I do believe intellectually that this will bring people together to at least discuss their differences,” he said.
