Department of War SUSPENDS Army Colonel Who Celebrated Charlie Kirk Assassination

The latest deranged leftist to be held accountable for their disgusting response to the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk is Army Colonel Scott Stephens. In the wake of the assassination, Stephens posted on Facebook to essentially say that Charlie deserved to shot and killed. “We can take comfort in the face that Charlie was doing what he loved best – spreading messages of hate, racism, homophobia, misogyny, and transphobia on college campus,” he (wrongfully) claimed. He added, “I would offer empathy, but Charlie hated empathy.” In a reply to his vile post, Stephens claimed that Charlie “spent years inciting political violence to die the victim of it.” See for yourself: Good Afternoon @DeptofWar Army Colonel Scott Stephens believes Charlie Kirk deserved to be murdered and that anyone that holds his mainstream conservative views are evil. He is a radical leftist and unfit to lead our nations finest. @SecWar @SeanParnellASW @USArmy… https://t.co/ScYsqhLKHC pic.twitter.com/H6GNneimsl — Mostly Peaceful Memes (@MostlyPeacefull) September 12, 2025 Here’s a closer look at the disgusting social media post: What is wrong with these people?! You’ll be happy to know that the Department of War was quick to respond — by suspending Army Colonel Scott Stephens from his position. Fox News reported: Army Col. Scott Stephens has been suspended from official duties after social media posts purportedly belonging to him celebrated the killing of Charlie Kirk, the Army told Fox News Digital. An Army spokesperson confirmed Stephens’ suspension and said there is an investigation underway into his conduct. Stephens could not be reached for comment by publication time. “The death of Charlie Kirk in Utah was tragic. However, we can take comfort in the fact that Charlie was doing what he loved best — spreading hate, racism, homophobia, misogyny, and transphobia on college campuses,” one post read. “I would offer empathy, but Charlie hated empathy. As we have been told in the wake of so many other tragedies, we have to move on. We can’t make this political.”… The Pentagon announced last week it was tracking and “would address” active-duty personnel who had made public comments celebrating Kirk’s death. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has promised to hold any and all other military personnel who celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk accountable: We are tracking all these very closely — and will address, immediately. Completely unacceptable. https://t.co/9weALT5Pb7 — Pete Hegseth (@PeteHegseth) September 11, 2025 Our military has no need for people who cheer on horrific tragedies like what happened last week. Here’s a great idea: Dishonorable discharge for these people, Sec. Hegseth. Thank you. — Alpha Liger (@AlphaLiger) September 12, 2025 What do you think?
