In Puerto Rico, activists protested outside a U.S. Air Base. In Georgia, a judge dismissed RICO charges against far-left extremists tied to Cop City. In Illinois, protesters blocked access to an ICE facility. Utah saw multiple crises. Conservative leader Charlie Kirk was assassinated by the boyfriend of a transgender individual. LGBT and socialist activists rallied at the Capitol, a trans militia group was deactivated, and an explosive device was later found under a Fox News affiliate vehicle in Salt Lake City. Other incidents included pro-Palestinian graffiti at UNC in North Carolina, a fight at a Kirk vigil in Idaho, and a man arrested for vandalizing a Kirk memorial in Arizona, where a massive 70,000-person service is planned. The National Guard will deploy to Memphis to combat crime, while New York police raised threat alerts during Trump’s 9/11 Yankee Stadium appearance. Data showed sharp increases in attacks on Christian churches across 43 states, led by CA, PA, FL, NY, TX, TN, and OH. Kirk’s assassination sparked a surge of conservative activism, with millions of new followers and thousands of new TPUSA chapter requests. Several NFL teams refused to honor him, while some teachers and doctors glorified his killing. The FTC warned Big Tech not to adopt EU content moderation rules. A Starlink outage disrupted nationwide service. A Senate amendment to release Epstein documents failed. The State Department warned visa holders praising Kirk’s killing they could face revocation. An AP report exposed U.S. tech firms aiding China’s surveillance state.
