Charlie Kirk’s Pastor On The Message He Will Give At Sunday’s Memorial Service: “They Won’t Leave With Charlie Kirk’s Name On Their Lips!”

Oh my goodness this is powerful! In fact, this might be the best thing you’ll see all week! Meet Pastor Rob McCoy, who Charlie Kirk was proud to call his pastor. Pastor Rob seems like an incredible guy, humble, down to Earth, not seeking big attention or fame or a big church…but at the same time he knows on Sunday when he speaks at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service he will for a brief moment have the attention of the world upon him. And he says he will make sure that when the spotlight is on him for those few short minutes, that he is going to deliver a Gospel message so clear and so powerful that people won’t leave there talking about Charlie Kirk but they’ll be talking about Charlie Kirk’s savior! And of course that’s exactly what Charlie Kirk would have wanted. INCREDIBLE! If this short clip is any indication of what’s to come on Sunday, it’s going to be very special and very powerful. Watch here: JUST IN: Charlie Kirk’s Pastor Rob McCoy gets emotional as he talks to me about delivering the Gospel message at Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Service this Sunday in Arizona: “When they leave that building, they’re not going to have Charlie Kirk’s name on their lips. They’re going to… pic.twitter.com/2BjDdJSIaP — David Brody (@DBrodyReports) September 17, 2025 FULL TRANSCRIPT: David, I have—uh, I, I’m not an evangelist. I could do the work of an evangelist. I’m obedient. Yeah. I, I don’t even know that I’m a really good pastor. I, I’ve pastored and shepherded a church for 25 years, but I’ve always joked, and it’s slightly true. I have the gift of preaching a church down to a manageable size. Now, now why in the world did Charlie pick me as his pastor? I was the first church that he was invited to come and speak at, and I encouraged him to put his faith into everything he did and not to compartmentalize it. For any reason—that’s my claim to fame with Charlie. But he was… he continued to call me his pastor. And I was in Korea with him, and this is what I said to him: “Charlie, your, your stock has gone through the stratosphere. Since the election, I see very little of you. You don’t have to keep calling me your pastor. You’re loyal. I know we got history, but there are guys you would benefit far more from having. I mean, you got Jack Hibbs. You got Alan Jackson. I mean, I can go through a list of amazing men.” And he said, “Rob, not only are you my pastor,” he said, “you’re America’s pastor.” And I said, “Charlie, you’re in the book of Who’s Who. I’m in the book of Who’s He. You don’t know what you’re talking about.” And doggone it, if he wasn’t right. I may not be America’s pastor today, and after Sunday, I won’t be. But for 11 minutes in Glendale, Arizona in front of 70,000 people and a billion tuning in worldwide, I’m gonna be the man he wanted me to be. And I’m gonna be faithful to present the gospel, to share with them that when they leave that building, they’re not gonna have Charlie Kirk’s name on their lips. They’re going to have Charlie Kirk’s Savior’s name on their lips, which is what he always wanted.
