Opa! Authentic Greek Cuisine Filed Bankruptcy Abruptly Closing All Locations

Restaurant chain Opa! Authentic Greek Cuisine is now just a part of our dining memories. USA Today reported that the chain has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and plans to liquidate all remaining assets. In court documents obtained by the news outlet, OPA Signature Foods listed 49 creditors and reported liabilities ranging from $100,000 to $500,000. “It is desirable and in the best interests of the company, its creditors, and other parties in interest that a petition be filed by the company seeking relief under the provisions of Chapter 7 of Title 11 of the United States Code,” Chief Executive Officer Molly Adams wrote in the court documents.
