Post Malone Completely Shut Down Broadway As Thousands Of People Packed The Streets To Celebrate Grand Opening Of New Nashville Bar, Posty’s

He shut down Broadway. Last night, Post Malone hosted the official grand opening of his bar Posty’s, which actually opened earlier this summer, and he played a free, hour-long concert in front of his Broadway establishment to celebrate. He brought out surprise guests like Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley and Brooks & Dunn, and as you can probably imagine, a HUGE crowd showed up to see him play and it looked like quite a time. Post ran through covers like Hank Williams Jr.’s “Outlaw Women,” Billy Currington’s “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer,” Toby Keith’s “How Do You Like Me Now!?” and more, and thousands and thousands of people descended on Nashville’s most famous street to see the live music from one of the world’s biggest stars. Here’s a little bit of “Neon Moon,” just beautiful: @alyssa_paisley4 @Post Malone and @Brooks & Dunn #nashville #broadway #fyp #posty #postmalone ♬ original sound – Alyssa Several videos of the crowd that’s truly a sea of people have gone viral, and it’s pretty astonishing to see just how many showed up to see this concert. I know we all love free live music, but this is next level… like CMA Fest but even more so: @timestampsbytiffany #postmalone #posty #popup #nashville #broadway ♬ Pour Me A Drink – Post Malone Another angle shows a more birds-eye view of Broadway: @broadwaybetties We’re elbow to elbow here at Post Malone’s free concert We’re so blessed but also look out for another!! Let them thru!! #freeconcert #postmalone #musiccity #broadway #nashvilletn ♬ original sound – broadwaybetties There were tons of comments on those videos about how some said it would be their “worst nightmare” to be in that crowd and try to fight there way through just to see the concert from a pretty good ways back, but if you were lucky enough to get into the area where the stage actually was, I imagine it was a heck of a time. Post also offered free food and drinks to everyone who could manage to get into Posty’s, which is super cool and not all that surprising considering everyone always talks about how kind he is. Considering how many people were there, I’m not sure how many really got to take advantage of that, but for those who did, I’m sure they’re having a fun morning. Worth it, though… Posty’s is a 26,000 square foot venue, featuring six bars, three stages, a full-service dining room and a rooftop and the largest ground floor on Broadway. Like I said, it’s been up and running for a while now, so if you’ll be in Nashville anytime soon, make sure you stop by Posty’s.
