Dressing up as a famous person is always a good option for Halloween, and in the country music space specifically, there are plenty of famous faces that are easily recognizable, making for a great costume option. From Dolly Parton to Hank Williams Jr., many folks reach into the list of classic country artists to dress up as. And one that never fails to get old is those who dress up as Alan Jackson from his “Chattahoochee” music video. The creator, Kathy Aguiar, has gone viral, gaining over 1 million views in 48 hours with her unconventional pick of an artist. And it’s not unconventional because it’s an obscure choice, but because often women dress as women, so I’m expecting to see a recreation of Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, or even Reba as I’m watching this video. But no… she picked an elite choice and revealed her costume as Luke Combs. Aguiar made a transition video revealing her costume while lip-syncing to Combs’ “One Number Away,” revealing her costume that is uncannily similar to Combs’s real-life appearance. She sports a classic Luke Combs PFG black fishing shirt, glued on a fake beard with a similar auburn hue to Combs’ facial hair, and slapped on a Luke Combs hat, sealing the look of the costume.
