Over the weekend, Morgan Wallen took time out of his day on the golf course to FaceTime a fan who is undergoing brain surgery soon for a cavernous malformation, and she was clearly in shock seeing Morgan on the other end of the phone. Her mom Sandy (who understandably doesn’t share her daughters name) shared the video on TikTok, and her daughter first talks to Morgan’s friend Matt, who had shared her story with Morgan. He tells her he has a friend who wanted to say hello, and when Morgan pops onto the screen, her face says it all. She asks if it’s real, and Morgan tells her it’s the only name “he’s ever been called,” and after he asks her how she’s doing, she responds that she’s doing “a lot better now”: “I’m going okay. I’m doing a lot better now. Sorry, I’m a little in shock.” He went onto say that he heard she’d been going through a rough time and wanted to give her a call, though part of the audio cuts off: “We heard you’ve been in a little bit of a rough spell, so I just wanted to cal and say…” Luckily, her mom shared a bit more of their conversation in the caption, explaining that Morgan also told her daughter he would add her to his Bible study prayer list because of her upcoming brain surgery: “When Morgan Wallen takes time out of his day to tell your daughter he is adding you to his Bible study prayer list because he hears [she is] having brain surgery.” Morgan gets a ton of hate for so many things he’s done both in his personal life and because of his musical style, and while some of it’s deserved, he’s often going out of his way to do things like this for his fans, and it’s obvious when you watch her reaction how much it means to her during such a hard time in her life due to serious medical issues no one that young should have to deal with.
