TPUSA Reporter Saw ‘SOMETHING ODD’ About Protesters on the Ground at No Kings Rally
A reporter with Turning Point USA’s Frontlines news organization was actually on the ground in Times Square last Saturday during the No Kings protests.
Savanah Hernandez has covered protests and demonstrations before.
But she noticed several oddities that stood out as abnormal during last weekend’s protests.
I have two clips of her recounting what she experienced — and we’ll get to both of those.
But I want to start off with the thing that really left her baffled.
In all the protests she has covered over the years, she said NEVER has she witnessed the majority of the crowd almost simultaneously call it quits and leave… as if on cue.
I’m picturing the timeclock going off in a factory or shop setting. Everyone knows it’s time to CLOCK OUT and go home, and all at once everyone is OUT.
That’s basically what she described, along with several other ‘odd’ peculiarities with the protesters she came across.
Here’s the first clip as she explains what she witnessed during an appearance with Fox News’ Jesse Waters:
NEW: FrontLines Reporter Savannah Hernandez says there’s some thing “ODD” about the NO KINGS “PROTESTERS” @Sav_Says_: “After one or two hours, the entire crowd completely dissipated — like they were off the clock. They just disbanded… I’ve never seen one end that fast.”… pic.twitter.com/i3TgUNy0p8

And here’s the YouTube full screen version of that video for easier viewing and backup:
As you heard, she also saw a distinct division between the protesters.
Those that seemed like true-believers; ready to sentence anyone who voted for President Trump to the electric chair.
And then those who didn’t even seem to know why they were there to begin with!
And then… POOF.
Suddenly BOTH GROUPS presumably went home. All at once. According to schedule?
If you followed our coverage of last week’s protests, you may have seen our report on the blatantly fake footage being used by several mainstream news outlets in order to overstate the size of the crowds:
7-Million NO KINGS Turnout is ‘Biggest Ever’? Then Why Did Mainstream Media FAKE the IMAGES
According to Savanah Hernandez who was actually on the ground in NYC, that crowd was legitimately big.
But the odd way it just dissipated leaves the question hanging in the air --
Was that crowd JUST AS MANUFACTURED as the crowds in our other story that used either old or AI-manipulated video?
I don't have a definitive answer to that question, but it's a valid question nonetheless after hearing Hernandez' first hand account.
The NY Police Department put out this post on the day of the protests, estimating a 6-digit turnout:
The majority of the No Kings protests have dispersed at this time and all traffic closures have been lifted.
We had more than 100,000 people across all five boroughs peacefully exercising their first amendment rights and the NYPD made zero protest-related arrests.

NYPD's announcement that there were no arrests coupled with Hernandez account of the scene almost sounds more like a CONSERVATIVE event... than what you normally end up with whenever there's a more left-leaning demonstration.
No arrests? I can almost believe the 'no arrests' part... because so often the local police are put on a short chain by left-leaning politicians.
But that has to be the first time in history that a protest -- WITH AN ANTIFA PRESENCE -- results in no violence.
I wonder if that is because most of the protesters WERE on the clock; as opposed to true-believers.
I also wonder, given her description of the signage in an obvious attempt to make Antifa more palatable...
Was the entire point to have an event without any form of violence in order to push back against their current reputation as lawless rioters?
President Trump was asked about it and responded that 'it's a joke'.
And he essentially argued that what Hernandez is reporting was exactly what it looked like -- a paid protest:
WOW! President Trump just DROPPED THE MIC on "No Kings"
"By the way, I'm not a KING. I work my A*S OFF to make our country great. That's all it is."
"It's a joke. I looked at the people...all the brand new signs. It was paid for by Soros and radical left lunatics...we're… pic.twitter.com/AKkOCz0wRc

Even this account of the NYC event in particular seems to read as if it were describing some sort of family-friendly outing -- as was reported by the CBS News affiliate out of New York:
Thousands of protesters marched from New York City's Times Square to Union Square in Saturday's "No Kings" rally, according to the NYPD. It's the second time this year that the demonstrations were being held across the United States.
The activists peacefully marched from Father Duffy Square down Seventh Avenue to 14th Street in Manhattan in a protest amid the prolonged federal government shutdown and President Trump's deployment of federal authorities to aid immigration enforcement.
The marchers, including some with their children, held signs and flags, with some reading "America was built by immigrants," and "We don't bow to billionaires."
It was one of many planned "No Kings" marches across the country Saturday. Other local demonstrations were being held in Brooklyn, New Jersey and on Long Island.
In a post on X, Gov. Kathy Hochul wrote, "Thank you to every New Yorker who showed up today peacefully, powerfully, and with purpose. Standing up for our neighbors and against injustice is what makes America great. New York hasn't labored under a king in more than 200 years. And we're not about to start now."
The first "No Kings" protests were held in June, the day of the president's military parade in Washington, D.C. That day over the summer, tens of thousands of people marched along Fifth Avenue from Bryant Park during the protest in New York.
TPUSA's Frontlines reporter, Hernandez, knows first hand -- in spite of that 'baffling' showing in NYC last Saturday -- that the NORMAL to be expected from Antifa is far more vicious.
Even during Saturday's subdued event, she was harassed and targeted just because she was wearing a TPUSA badge:
The left wing is so radicalized that this is their reaction to simply reading the words “TPUSA” on a press badge
This guy started telling me what a “racist bigot” Charlie was & called me a “token” before police stepped in due to how aggressive he was: pic.twitter.com/FOP7l3d6W9

Still, the drastic change in overall tone...
And the odd signage -- it all seems to be an attempt to intentionally rebrand Antifa on the heels of President Trump's domestic terror classification.
There's one more video of Hernandez describing what she saw in NYC last Saturday that I want to show you to round out this story.
I'll cue this clip to start at the 4:30 mark, when Hernandez appears on the Charlie Kirk Show yesterday.
Again, she describes that NYC No Kings event.
And while she corroborates that it really was a fairly large crowd, she also does a little better job explaining what appears to be a REBRANDING job of sorts by Antifa:
I also wanted to end with that video because she brought up another narrative that's been pushed recently online and in mainstream media.
There is a huge push, as they explained, to pretend that Antifa isn't even a 'thing'.
To her credit, Savanah Hernandez has the real-life experience of being ATTACKED by Antifa by way of her on-scene reporting.
I'll say this -- the more I cover these types of stories, the more the 1-2 combo of FAKED VIDEOS and FALSE NARRATIVES inside the media becomes highlighted for me.
We are truly living in a time when the truth has a premium you have to pay in the form of doing your own homework.
That's a hard sell for a culture that has largely grown accustomed to being spoon-fed what to believe and what to think.
But... that's the battle. That's why I write, that's why WLT-Report exists, and that's why we'll NEVER let up.
The fight to know what's TRUE might be getting more intense. But it's no less worth the fight than it ever was.
Whether the story is faked videos, paid crowds, or patently false narratives; I plan on bringing you EVEN MORE of those stories... exposing EVEN MORE of those lies -- even as they ramp up.
Don't give up, folks. There have been a lot of victories.
But the spiritually-based culture war is raging hotter than ever before.
Now is not the time to lose focus. Now is the time to hold the line, and uphold the standard of truth until it prevails.
Mission accepted. See you on the beach.
