Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School Principal Brianna Lanoye adores her students. She’s equally beloved by the kids and her coworkers. While planning her upcoming wedding, Brianna mentioned how much she’d love to have all the students attend. Vice Principal Courtney Champlin told Brianna that it just wasn’t possible. But little did the bride-to-be know, Courtney had something up her sleeve. Brianna told WKBW she noticed many of the kids looking particularly dressed up one morning, but didn’t think too much of it. She complimented them and even joked with some of the girls about wanting to borrow their dresses for her wedding. Brianna had no idea what they had planned. Courtney Champlin Planned A Wedding For Brianna Lanoye At School Since the kids couldn’t go to Brianna Lanoye’s wedding, Courtney Champlin brought the wedding to them. The whole school, and Brianna’s fiancé Zach, were all in on the ruse. Courtney walked Brianna down the aisle in a gown she created just for the occasion. I was completely overwhelmed with joy and emotion,” Brianna told WKBW. “To see the love and effort the students and team poured into this for me was one of the most touching moments of my life. This is a day I will truly never forget. They are all a part of my family.” A student officiated the wedding, and the kids shared toasts to their teacher. “I want to personally thank you for all you did for me,” one student said. “I will never forget the difference you have made in my life.” “It was more than I ever thought anyone would do for me,” Brianna Lanoye said. “It was really special.” Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School shared the video on the school’s Facebook page, and people loved it. “I watched the video and cried! Such an incredibly special memory for a wonderful lady and leader! Congratulations and Best Wishes to you both!!!” Someone shared. “Speaks for itself,” a sweet message reads. “The most incredible principal and leader!!!” What a lucky man, Brianna Lanoye’s husband is.
