He talked about his brief reunion with Elon during the Charlie Kirk memorial and said that they’ve spoken “on and off, a little bit” since then. “I like Elon. Trump said on Monday that he has a “good” relationship with the world’s richest man despite Musk’s “stupid moment” earlier this year. He also said that he’s spoken with Musk “on and off, a little bit” since they were seen chatting at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service in September. “I like Elon, I’ve always liked him,” Trump told reporters on board Air Force One as he traveled between Malaysia and Japan. Trump referenced the public and nasty feud that broke out between the two men in June, which was largely triggered by Musk’s opposition to the “Big Beautiful Bill.” That came shortly after Musk departed the administration after leading the DOGE effort.
