					Big Beautiful Standoff

Israel is wiping its backside with the ceasefire that President Trump arranged for them. We knew they would but it is surprising that they’ve done it so brazenly.
On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that he had ordered “forceful strikes in the Gaza Strip” due to “security consultations.”
Israel claims the strikes were retaliation for a Hamas attack on its forces and says it has not yet received the remains of deceased hostages that were promised. Hamas, for its part, says it’s trying to recover the remains but needs “heavy equipment.”
Why? Because Gaza is a wasteland of destroyed buildings. It stands to reason that they would need heavy machinery to retrieve so much as a family pet.
Netanyahu warned on Monday that he was not going to be bound by what the U.S. wants in the most direct response to accusations of government infiltration that we’ve ever seen.
He said the notion that he controls the U.S. government is a joke, and the idea that the U.S. controls Israel is just as absurd. In other words: they’ll do what they want.
This is an embarrassment for President Trump who so loudly victory-lapped his peace agreement. How will he respond? If past is prologue, he’ll release a strongly worded Truth Social about Hamas.
