Chick-fil-A opened its first restaurant in Atlanta in 1967. There are now more than 3,300 serving up delicious menu items like tasty chicken, savory mac & cheese, and their signature waffle fries. Chick-fil-A is so popular, it’s constantly trying new things. Red Wagon Ventures, LLC, a Chick-fil-A subsidiary, debuted a brand-new concept in Atlanta in late October. Daybright Coffee and Refreshment opened at 4326 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway in Hiram, Georgia. The new establishment offers an expanded coffee and drink menu along with breakfast favorites. For now, this is the only location, but plans could include expansion in the future. Just like Chick-Fil-A, the restaurant will remain closed on Sundays. “With schedules busier than ever, we know people are looking for easy, convenient ways to enjoy quality food and beverages,” David Farmer, vice president of Red Wagon Ventures, shared in a news release obtained by Restaurant Dive. “Daybright is designed with this in mind, offering delicious beverages and portable bites intended to delight customers and help boost their busy days.” Daybright hopes to create a space where people can slow down and enjoy themselves, if only for a short time. “At Daybright, we believe a simple moment, a sip, a bite, a pause, can spark a great day. That belief inspired us to create a daily stop that makes busy lives feel a little lighter, fresher, and more fun,” the company’s website says. “Daybright isn’t just about what’s in the cup or on the plate. It’s about a brighter outlook. A little more energy. The spark that keeps your day moving.” This is an idea we can get behind.
