Aldi Has Hysterical Reply To Starbucks Bearista Debacle
If you got your hands on a Starbucks Bearista cup, consider yourself lucky. You might have been doing a dance at 4 a.m. like Charlie and Grandpa Joe when he brought home that golden ticket. But it’s more likely that you waited in line for absolutely nothing. The hype for the Bearista cup was huge, but the supply most definitely did not meet the demand. Social media is filled with angry rants about Starbucks employees allegedly buying up the cups and leaving customers with nothing. Aldi saw the chaos and said, “Hold my pumpkin spice coffee.” The discount grocer clapped back with a hilarious cup of its own.

Aldi’s Answer To The Bearista Is a Gingerbread Man Cup
Aldi went big on the Bearista debacle and will release a gingerbread man cup on November 12. They announced the new offering in a social media campaign that teased the coffee giant’s “embearassing” release. Aldi shared a photo of the gingerbread man cup holding flowers, with the text, “I’m just the nice guy she crawls back to after she tried the whole bad bear thing.” Mic drop.
Fans positively loved Aldi’s jab at the Bearista cup and are ready to pop a quarter in their cart and grab one.
“Well played Aldi well played. I work at Starbucks. I’m still traumatized from last Thursday and the teddy bear cups,” a Starbucks employee admitted.
“God bless whomever is running this Instagram account and getting approvals from the vp of marketing for Aldi. Your work doesn’t go unnoticed,” another person wrote.
“I can’t with you,” a follower laughed. “Whoever does socials here is so brilliant and funny.”
No word from the Bearista bunch over at Starbucks, but we hope they see the fun in Aldi’s little joke. BRB, we have to run and grab a gingerbread man cup for ourselves. It would be unbearable to miss.
