His family is known worldwide, and plenty of people make remarks about the royals online. Giving him a cell phone also means opening him up to all that the world has to say. Per People, Prince William shared his thoughts on Prince George and a cell phone with Luciano Huck in a recent interview in Brazil. “Our children don’t have phones. I think when George moves on to secondary school, then maybe he might have a phone that has no internet access,” William explained. But he added that it’s becoming an issue with the young prince and his parents. “And to be honest, it’s getting to the point where it’s becoming a little bit of a like tense issue,” Prince William admitted. His dad said Prince George is pretty understanding of his parents’ trepidation about a cell phone. “But I think he understands why,” Prince William added. “We communicate why we don’t think it’s right. And again, I think it’s the internet access I have a problem with.
