The incident in question involved Rep. Crenshaw toasting a Mexican official’s offensive comment about a woman.
Punchbowl News reported:
Top House Republicans banned Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) from traveling internationally for three months after an alcohol-related episode during a foreign congressional delegation.
During an August trip to Mexico, Crenshaw was having drinks with a group of Mexican officials. One Mexican official cracked a crude joke that made a woman present uncomfortable. Crenshaw toasted the remarks.
House Intelligence Committee Chair Rick Crawford (R-Ark.) urged Speaker Mike Johnson to remove Crenshaw from the panel. Johnson, who has full control over the highly secretive Intelligence Committee, opted against booting Crenshaw from the panel.
Rep. Crenshaw pushed back against the report, claiming it’s just a “clickbait story.”
He said that the Ethics committee approved him for a trip in October, but it got derailed by the government shutdown.

Big problem with this clickbait story: I was booked to go on an overseas CODEL, which was fully approved by House Ethics, from October 1st to October 6th of this year. The CODEL was canceled right before departure due to the government shutdown, but not due to any so-called “travel ban”. This is a fact: people can pull receipts. Once again, we are dealing with the usual media playbook of publishing sensational stories based on ananonymous sources and incorrect facts.
However, Jack Sherman of Punchbowl News poked a hole in Rep. Crenshaw’s claim.
In a reply on X, he noted that Crenshaw was banned by the chair of his committee from taxpayer-funded travel, not privately-funded travel approved by the Ethics committee.

Basically, Sherman says that Rep. Crenshaw is evading the truth.
Whether that’s true or not, Texas needs to primary this fool.
Bear in mind that this is the same RINO congressman who was caught saying he would kill Tucker Carlson several months back.

This is the same asshat who threatened to “KlLL” Tucker Carlson earlier this year in what seems to be another drunken rant, saying “if I ever meet Tucker Carlson, I’ll f***ing kill him. I’m not joking.”
Crenshaw’s international travel ban will last at least three months.
Texans, you know what to do in the midterms!
