The drama… Last night, Riley Green was one of the biggest winners at the CMA Awards, taking home three trophies for Music Video of the Year (announced before the show started), Single of the Year and Song of the Year for the song “You Look Like You Love Me,” which he shares with Ella Langley. But it wasn’t his acceptance speeches, or even his performance of “Worst Way,” that fans were paying attention to… it was his date, influencer Bryana Ferringer. Hearts shattered all over the world as fans saw him sitting with a new lady, as I’m sure you know that Riley is a fan-favorite among the ladies for obvious reasons, and I’ve recently heard him say that he is single, but it appears as though he might actually have a girlfriend, as the cameras panned to Green sitting next to Bryana during the show a couple times throughout the evening. I know some of you were probably very upset to see that, but you can still look, okay… there’s no crime in that. Bryana and Riley have been spotted together for months now, so I think it’s safe to assume they’re in some sort of relationship, and it’s serious enough that he would go public with it at such a big event, though they notably did not walk the red carpet together, so there’s that. From a quick Google search, I learned that Bryana previously dated country artist Tucker Wetmore, and she is a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle influencer who lives in Nashville and has been spotted with Riley here and there for the last several months, so I’m sure some of his fans have taken notice, especially if you’re on TikTok at all. And while Wetmore hasn’t said anything publicly about their breakup or her new relationship with Riley, he performed last night as well, and today, he teased a new song called “Proving Me Right” that certainly seems to be written about Bryana. Here’s a look at some of the lyrics, where he mentions her going from “red to crimson,” potentially referencing the fact that Riley is from Alabama, though he’s admittedly an Auburn fan, not an Alabama fan, but I digress… “You got a way now, don’t you? Of getting just what you wanted, Don’t lie, don’t lie, You want me to see you with him, Switching from red to Crimson, Alright, alright…” Yeah, I saw what you was just chasin’ Queen bee the game that you’re playin’ Ain’t worth the whiskey I wasted Yeah, I’m just sayin’” Him mentioning “queen bee” seems really obvious in terms of who it’s about, and while it’s not an overly complex song, plenty of fans were in the comments speculating that this song is about Bryana, and considering the timing of him sharing this song and Bryana being Riley’s date to the show last night, that seems like an extremely obvious and logical assumption to make. If you haven’t heard his music or don’t know much about him, Tucker is basically a Morgan Wallen copy (it’s scary how much they sound alike), but he seems like a nice enough guy, just not my taste in music… at all. But, it seems as though the drama with Riley and the girls he has (allegedly) dated, continues, and now Tucker Wetmore is seemingly involved too.
