Zooey Deschanel Immediately Endeared Jonathan Scott According to Parade, Jonathan Scott opened up about his relationship with Zooey Deschanel in a 2024 interview with Access Hollywood alongside his twin brother, Drew Scott. He explained the pair hit it off immediately, and her “amazing energy” captivated him. Still, Jonathan was surprised to learn Zooey was no longer with her husband. “At the time, it wasn’t public that she had gone through a divorce. I had just assumed that she was just super nice. I didn’t realize she was single,” Jonathan explained. Jonathan Scott said Zooey Deschanel “checked off” very important boxes that he needs in a relationship. “I’ve discovered in my life that I could not be with somebody if they don’t have a sense of humor or they don’t have critical thinking skills. So anybody who has great problem-solving skills is going to work great with me, anybody with a sense of humor,” he said.
