Can’t say I saw this collaboration coming, but man is it a heater. By this point, there’s a good chance you’ve probably heard Tyler Nance’s viral hit “Keeps Me Sane.” The insanely catchy and hard-driving tune released back in July by the Lamar, Missouri native quickly gained traction on social media, and then it spread like wildfire. Now, in less than six months, the tune has amassed over 75 million plays across streaming platforms, and there are no signs of that momentum slowing down. As good as the original version of “Keeps Me Sane” is, though, Nance brought in some outside talent to feature on a new version of the track, and it’s even better than the original. Released today, and accompanied by an awesome music video, the latest version features another fast-rising country act in The Castellows, who contribute vocals and killer harmonies. In a press release circulated by the team at Niche Media, Nance provided some context behind the decision to release another version, and touches on how great of an experience it was working with The Castellows to bring this one to life. “It was always a dream of mine to collaborate with another artist on a song. The way the original version took off blew my mind and I’m so excited that it paved the way for me to work with The Castellows. I was able to join them in the studio and we all filmed the official music video together. They’re super easygoing and kind – the entire process working with them has been something I’ll always remember. At 22 years old, Tyler Nance is just getting started, and his growing catalog of original music is already full of great music. Here are a couple of my favorites everyone needs to check out. “Shovel” “Whiskey Me or the Pain”  Rising to fame through social media in somewhat similar fashion to Nance, The Castellows are a spectacular trio of sisters who set the internet ablaze a few years back by posting covers on TikTok and Instagram. They have been around long enough to prove they are the real deal, though, and far from some sort of fleeting viral sensation. Here are a couple of recent originals they have released. “Sheltered” “Heartland” And if you like what you’ve heard from Tyler Nance and The Castellows, then you’re in luck. Both are touring heavily in the new year, with Nance supporting Ian Munsick for quite a few shows and The Castellows doing the same for Luke Combs across the pond in Europe. Between these high profile opening gigs, though, Nance and The Castellows are each scheduled to take the stage at several festivals and a handful of headlining gigs as well.
