The World Cup will take place in cities across the continent as the United States, Mexico, and Canada host the games. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney were present at Friday’s event. Ahead of receiving the prize, Trump told reporters, “I can tell you I did settle eight wars and we have a ninth coming—and which nobody’s ever done before. But I want to really save lives.
