Country Star Gets ‘Clarksoned’ by Kelly Clarkson
One of our favorite parts of The Kelly Clarkson Show is when she grabs the mic and sings for her guests. If Kelly gets a hold of your song and gives it the Kellyoke treatment, you know you’ve made it. Kelly is one of those artists who can sing just about every genre, and she does it well. She recently took on Ella Langley’s Weren’t for the Wind and fans went wild. Remember, Kelly Clarkson is a Texas girl at heart, so letting her country side shine is about as natural as it can be.

When Kelly Clarkson Sings Kellyoke, We All Listen
Kellyoke is one of those segments that gets Kelly Clarkson fans excited, but it can also feel like a curse for the original artist. Kelly’s voice is like no one else in the business, and we’re sure that could be intimidating to an up-and-coming artist like Ella. But as soon as she realized Kelly Clarkson sang her song for Kellyoke, Ella made sure to hit the comment section on Instagram.
“Insane!!!” Ella wrote with two mind-blowing emojis.
Others felt the same way.
“Ella, what an honor to have @kellyclarksonshow show your song, Weren’t for the Wind, some #kellyoke LVE!” A fan commented.
“Come onnn just out here killin songs,” another fan wrote.
Others pointed out that when Kelly Clarkson does Kellyoke, she gives every song its own special touch.
“Kelly’s tone hits differently. Her storytelling skills are out of this world, imo,” a fan wrote.
Kells is tapping into that Fort Worth, Mel Daniel’s ‘Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On’ vibe and I’m here for the ride,” another person cheered.
This fan had a great idea.
“Can we at least get a duet album from you singing covers with the artists?” They asked.
