Jackson, who sent us these images from his fabulous collection of vintage snapshots and found photos. I urge anyone who loves old pictures and imagining the stories they hold to check out his posts on our site. Of course, snow means instant winter. It means shovelling driveways and footprints leading towards Norman Rockwell World. On TV reporters in branded jackets warn of snowmageddon and seek images of snow-globed cars and tales of foxhole camaraderie. Children and other dreamers just hope the snow thickens and settles for school closures and fun. Throw in a Viking Funeral and Snow People and smile as snow covers the cracks and makes everything better.
