BREAKING: TRUMP TO ANNOUNCE WAR TONIGHT?
Tucker Carlson dropped a bombshell on Judge Napolitano’s show: a congressional source told him lawmakers were briefed yesterday that a war might be coming.
Tucker:
“I don’t know the answer.
here’s what I know so far, which is that members of Congress were briefed yesterday that a war is coming and it’ll be announced in the address to the nation tonight at 9 o’clock by the president.
Who knows, by the way, if that will actually happen? I don’t know.
And I never want to overstate what I know, which is pretty limited in general.”
This drops during Trump’s ramp-up on Maduro: naval blockade on sanctioned tankers, strikes on drug boats killing 11, and troop buildup in the Caribbean, escalating over Maduro, oil, and cartels.
Of course, news of a potential war comes as things have been dramatically escalating with Venezuela.
The U.S. military has continued to unleash strikes on narco-terrorist drug boats carrying dangerous substances to the U.S.
Just today, President Trump ordered a blockade of oil tankers to and from Venezuela, after seizing a tanker last week.
CNBC reported:
At least 34 U.S.-sanctioned oil tankers with a history of carrying Venezuelan oil are currently at sea in the Caribbean, according to a new analysis obtained by CNBC on Wednesday.
And at least 12 of those tankers appear to be filled with crude oil from Venezuela, according to vessel location data from Kpler, a global trade intelligence company.
One of the tankers, Skipper, was seized by the U.S. forces in the Caribbean last week and was being taken to the United States.
Kpler provided the analysis a day after President Donald Trump vowed to impose a “complete and total blockade” on sanctioned oil tankers moving in and out of Venezuela. Trump also deemed the nation’s ruling Maduro regime a foreign terrorist organization.
The U.S. is expected to block only sanctioned tankers carrying oil from Venezuela, not similar vessels that have other nations’ crude, including oil from Iran and Russia, according to Kpler.
“In light of President Trump’s recent announcement, these tankers may be exposed to heightened scrutiny and potential enforcement actions by U.S. authorities,” Dimitris Ampatzidis, senior risk and compliance Analyst at Kpler, told CNBC.
We’ll find out for sure if the U.S. is going to launch a full-scale war in Venezuela in just a few hours.
President Trump is scheduled to address the nation live tonight from the White House at 9 PM.
